The champagne and sparkling cider flowed liberally over the course of the evening. Honour began to relax and accepted Rory's apology and the excitement of having a niece or nephew truly set in. She called Josh and had him bring dinner and the entire group, including Logan's nephews, had an enjoyable few hours.

Around 8 the kids began to become tired and the group excused them self to allow Josh and Honour to put the boys to bed. Once back in the vehicle, they decided that a trip to Stars Hollow was necessary.

As they came closer to seeing her mother, Rory found herself growing nervous. So much had changed in just a few days. She knew her mother would support her, but she also knew that she would speak her mind.

Lorelai was waiting for them on the front porch when they approached the crap shack.

Rory jumped out of the vehicle and ran to her mother, being enveloped in a tight hug.

"You're sure?" Lorelai whispered.

Rory pulled back and looked her mother in the eye. "Absolutely. This is faith."

Lorelai smiled. She nodded once before turned to Logan. He had his head tucked down and took a deep breath before peering up to take in her expression. Lorelai looked at him seriously for a moment before nodding once and pulling him into a hug.

"Well, took you long enough!" She teased.

Logan's eyes scanned her face as he allowed himself to be drawn into the hug. He found he couldn't speak over the lump in his throat. "It was always her." He finally choked out.

Lorelai pulled him closer and whispered into his ear. "I know. It was obvious almost from the very beginning. You both needed this time, but now I think you both are ready. And I'm here for you both - actually for you three!"

Logan smiled and returned the hug. After a moment he heard someone clearing their throat and looked up to see Luke glowering at him. He released Lorelai quickly and squared his stance. And waited.

Luke stood with his arms folded, when Lorelai turned around. "Luke?"

His gaze never flickered away from Logan. "So, he's back."

Rory hid a grin. "He's back for good. "

This caught Luke's attention. "How 'for good'?"

Rory stepped up onto the porch and held her left hand out. Luke glanced down and she replied "There is going to be another wedding. "

Luke softened. He relaxed visibly and hugged Rory first. Then he turned to Logan and offered him his hand. Logan happily shook hands and blew out a shaky breath.

"Congratulations." Luke smiled.

"Thanks Luke." Logan said "This is for good. She finally said yes."

Luke laughed. "You still have to get her down the aisle. Trust me, these Gilmore girls are hard to pin down to a date!"

Rory laughed. "How about this week?"

Luke  laughed back at first but then did a double take. "This week?"

"Yep.  I did some research. It will take a few days to get the license, but Honour's father in law is a Judge, so he thinks he can expedite it and will do the ceremony. He's free on Friday after work - so around 6?" Logan added.

"Where?" asked Lorelai.

"In Honour's back yard." Rory answered. "Just the essential people - you guys and Lane and Paris. Grandma, and Logan's parents will be invited too."

Lorelai raised an eyebrow. "Shira's coming?"

"Well, we are going to invite her. Whether or not she comes is up to her." Logan shrugged. "I know Mitchum is in town this weekend, so that's why we are waiting for Friday."
