he cheated on you.
that wasn't the worst part.
the worst part was that he left you the day after you found out.
and so you focused on the rebellion. forgot your past. forgot your love before. but it still made you sad.
you two had such a good relationship. you had two years of happiness and stability. he is your everything. correction: was your everything. you loved him.
until you found him in a bed with another person.
there was yelling. he acted like it was nothing.he said he never had loved anyone else. he said it was a joke. he never meant it.
and then he went off with her.
now you were walking around some planet trying to find some connection with the rebellion. it was dirty. all the scum and villainy came here. you always had to be on your toes.
and then something tripped you. you immediately grabbed your blaster and pointed it at the person who tripped you, shouting "get away from me scum!".
and then your eyes adjusted to the light.
he looked so familiar. he had a long black beard. his brown eyes were warm and wet. you stared. and then you whispered,
"cassian?"
"(y/n)?"
he jumped up, starting to embrace you, but you pushed him away. he stunk of the stale smell of alcohol and was covered in dirt. "(y/n) i missed you!" he shouted, smiling. you started to open your mouth but he continued. "listed, i miss you. i messed up. i shouldn't have left. please forgive me."
he started to tear up.
"i'm sorry cas, but no."
he stared.
"you broke my heart. you lied and left me for my own. you acted like it was nothing. well it is something. and we're done you're not the man i fell in love with."
and with that you walked away.
