you weren't allowed to love anyone in the rebellion. that was the rules. no romantic connections. if found, you could be thrown out of the rebellion. since it was your life, you avoided falling in love with any of your comrades.
until you meant him.
his name was cassian andor. he was a captain, and a damn good one at that. never failed a mission. completely dedicated to the rebellion. so there was no chance of you with him.
but god you loved him.
you went on a mission, and that's when you fell for him. he was beautiful at first sight. and then you two talked. he was funny and caring, and protective, and anything you had ever wanted in a boyfriend.
too far, sorry.
he was pretty amazing though. and you liked him. a lot.
but you kept your feelings suppressed. and it was hard. you could barely work with him. you couldn't be near him. it was hard to be just friends. you were sad every time.
so you avoided him. you never did missions with him. you never talked. you muttered a quick hi, but nothing more.
and it bothered you.
and apparently cassian.
so he pulled you aside one day, startling you.
"so why?"
"why what?"
"why the avoidance? why don't you hang out with me anymore? what did i do?"
"nothing. i just...i like you and i don't really know if you ever want to hang out because i don't want to ruin the rebellion for you and i know you like it and..."
he cut you off with a kiss. it was warm, and everything you ever dreamed of. all your worry melted away.
"so let's rebel then"
