first, your mission was cancelled, and you were really excited to leave the base. then, your droid died, which made both you and k2 very sad. then your ship broke. and then you finally made breakfast and burned it. and your fridge was empty and...

it was just a really sucky day. The worst part was that cassian wasn't here, and you always ranted to him and he would always comfort you. instead, he was on a one month mission.

and that was the worst part of it all.

you felt your eyes well up with tears. the stress was breaking you slowly. finally, you just let go, your whole body wracking with your sobs.

you heard a creak behind you, and a door shut. you looked up with red eyes to see cassian andor with a bouquet of orchids, a rare flower from the planet earth. seeing the mess of you, he immediately dropped the flowers and ran towards you, holding you in his arms. "(y/n) what's wrong?" he said, scared. "just...everything is going wrong and i missed you and..." you said, shaking.

he silenced you with a warm kiss. "breathe, (y/n). i'm here now. and i believe in you"
