The Broken and Hurt (Niall Horan)

Chapter 21

Why is he here?  What did I ever do to deserve seeing him again? He treated me like shit the entire time we were together.  I told him I never wanteed to see him ever again,  but there he is, sitting at the table a few away from me. Oh sorry, This guy is Chad Preston. He is just awful. He only cares about his apperance and partying. He is one of the Class A d-bags who tries to mimic one of the Posh country club families that come from Yorkshire Moors. Even though he is from middle/upper middle class in Manchester. He thinks he is higher and better than everyone else, which was one of biggest problems when we were dating. Yea. We dated.  Mad right? We dated from middle of year 10 to the beginning of year 11. I thought we were doing ok, despite Chad's attitude. He would always agrue with anyone who corrected him, and most times it was me.  WHen we fought , He thought he was perfect and I wasnt, so he would always bring up my dad not being there meaning I'm not perfect but broken. ANd I would always end up on the verge of tears or crying.  I finally kicked him to the curb when I found out he was cheating on me with some scampily dressed twat.  Breakingup with him hurt me more than I thought it would. He was my first serious boyriend and I thought I loved him. But he didn't love apparently. I cried for days, until I stopped out of nowhere. I ran out of tears to cry over Chad. I fixed myself up and lived my life like nothing ever happened.  

Here I am sitting with my family celebrating my accomplishment. Looking back on it now, I realised i should have never shed a tear for him or stayed together that long. It was just no good. I I'll find someone who will make up or all the hurt Chad caused me. I havent seen him since we broke up. He goes to one of the neighbouring schools so  I dont have to see him. Im happier now than I ever was with him. 

"Lizzie, are you ready to order? The waiters coming this way." My mum says, brining my back into reality. "Yea." 

Th ewaiter takes all our orders then leaves. I take my phone out and send a text to GEmma.

 To: Gemma is the cutest person i have evr laid my eyes on. <3 From: Me

"Gem you'll never guess who is at  the resturant right now! "

I know what you're thinking. SHe put her name in my phone, not me. But I did do the same to my name in her phone. 

TO:Me From: Gemma is the cutest person i have evr laid my eyes on. <3

"Is it Keating?! omg that would be great XD  WHo is it???"

 To: Gemma is the cutest person i have evr laid my eyes on. <3 From: Me

"ITS CHAD!! I thought i would never se him again. i still  hate him. "

I get up to go the loo. I fix a stray piece of hair and tuk it behind my ear. I wash my hands. I still an't belive CHad is here. I mean it is a resturant but there are so many in the city and he comes here when I do. Thats a bit strange. I shake it off and head back out to the table. Just as I exit the door some guy nbumps into me. I tun and say sorry mate. "No. I should be sorry." WAit. What? Did he say that. It's no big deal.

"Its okay. No harm do...." I say as I turn to face the speaker. Id recognixe those brown eyes and shady brown hair anywhere. Its Chad. Im spechless. What is going on?

"no Lizzie its not okay. I have did so many things to you. I am so sorry. I never meant any of it."

"Chad. Stop. Okay? What you did really hurt me but im over it. YOu bringing it up will just cause me more pain. " I reply coldly.

"Okay." He responds sadly. His eyes full of guilt and sorow.

"Just tell me one thing." He nods."ANything." "tell me that you've changed and won't ever treat another girl the same. Tell me that."

"I have changed. Im here with my girlfiend right now. She just go accepted into uni. We are celebrating. i have never treated her badly. i realised how much of a prick i was to you after we broke up."

"Congratulate her for me. Please dont ever treat her bad." "I won't Lizzie. I love her too much. She completes me. " That stung my heart. He never told me he loved me,  but he just openly admited it to me. I always wanted him to say that to me.  "Good for you Chad, But I have to get to my fmaily. It as great to see you. Good luck in life." I was trying so had to keep my voice steady. "Good to see you too Lizzie. I hope that your guy will treat you a thousand times better than I did. YOu deserve the best."  We part ways and find our way back to our own tables.I sit back down. A smile comes to my face. Thats all i ever wanted to hear from him since we broke up.  I finally forget him completely. I check my phone one last time before the food comes.

To: Me From: Gemma is the cutest person i have evr laid my eyes on. <3

" OH MY GOD!!! did he talk to you? did he come crawling back on his knees for you? tell me gurl! i need to know! "

"Hello!!! where did you go?/  are you to hooking up in the loo? lol jk"

"LIZZIE!!!"

 To: Gemma is the cutest person i have evr laid my eyes on. <3 From: Me 

"Gemma calm down. Jeez. I went to the toilet and then I ran into him. He apoligised for all the crap he did to me. and stuff like that. He changed Gem. THats i really needed to know.  Now i gtg before mum gets angry at me for texting during dinner. ttyl :)"

Just as I put my phone in my bag the waiter comes with the food. Praise the waiter! Im starving. Maggie makes starts talking about her students and how crazy they are. SHe is a secondary school teacher for years 9 and 10. The kids love her, since she is young and new.  She is telling a story about how one of kids stood up and screamed 'YOlo" and  bolted out of the room.  MAggie's stories are alwasy the best. I love when MAggie is around. She makes everything light and comfortable. i glance over at TOny. THere is a nervous look in his eyes. I wonder what he is thinking about. He looks at Maggie with so much love and compassion in his eyes. SHe is lucky to have Tony. He treats her like a princess. THey love each other so much. Our plates are cleared away when TOny takes a deep breathe and stands up. 

"Maggie Watson. I will love you to the ends on the Earth and I wish to spend every day for the rest of my life with you. It would be an honour to take your hand in marriage. Will you, Margeret Sarah Watson, marry me?" 

OH MY GOD!!! THIS IS NOT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! 

"Yes! YEs YEs A thousand times yes TOny!!!" She stands up and hugs him tightly. Tears are streaming down everyones face. The entire restruant applauds as the new engaged share a kiss. Today has been a very productful day. I thought as my family embraces in a group hug.

Hello! since today is a snowday i decided to update! and it only took me about 2 hours!! go me! lol well stay warm everyone! I dedicate this chapter to my BFFL ERin's Brother and his fiance whom he just proposed to!!! Im so happy!!! yay! i loe them! okay au revoir!
