"Expecto Patronum!"
As soon as the spell is cast, a silver glow starts to emerge from Casey's wand, forming the shape of a phoenix that quickly flies high before disappearing into the woods.
Credence gapes at the scene. Never did he see something more beautiful than the silver phoenix. Casey simply smiles, proud with what she managed to do.
"It's a patronus charm..."
Casey explained when she notices Credence's curiosity and excitement.
"It is a very powerful charm, and a very hard one to do... It can only be casted with a true feeling of happiness... I've tried it numerous times but failed miserably... I guess I don't really have any happy memory..."
Casey gulps before continues.
"Until I think about you... I finally able to cast it... Because of you..."
Credence eyes widened. He quickly feels a warm sensation creeping on his face, making him blush unknowingly at Casey's words.
Casey quickly clears her throat when she realizes her abruptness.
"Are you... Are you saying that you are happy... because of me?"
Credence innocently asked, trying hard to cover his nervousness although for sure Casey could easily read through him.
Casey that sensed Credence nervousness slowly puts her right hand on Credence's left arm. She nods her head slightly.
"Yes Credence... I think I'm happy... because of you..."

It's not a well declared relationship. They both know it. They are not in the state where they can say the word 'love' to each other yet. They both are still in the process of knowing each other. They both know the feelings inside own's heart. But for the time being, it is better if it stays this way.
Part of it because Casey is still scared about their future. As a Black, how can she be with Credence without having to make a difficult choice to leave her own family.
As for Credence, he is still recovered from his traumatic relationship with Graves. Although he knows Casey and Graves are totally different, he still feels scared.

"The Final Ball is an annual event for all final year students in Hogwarts. This is your chance to commemorate your last year and get together with your friends of different houses..."
Casey couldn't care less about Headmaster Dippet's speech. For her, the ball is meaningless. Why would she go there and risking the chance of being touched by others. Simply the thought of the pain makes Casey shudders.
"Casey... I wonder..."
"No. I'm not going to the ball Tarius... Thanks for the invitation..."
"Merlin Casey, you ruin the surprise."
Terry chuckles while trying to supress his dissapointment. To tell the truth, he has been waiting for the event to come so that he could go there with Casey. It is still vivid in his mind when his family was invited to Arcturus and Melania's wedding, Casey was so stunningly beautiful that Terry can't take his eyes off her.
Since then, Terry has been waiting for the opportunity, to see Casey wearing a gown again.
"Gosh Tarius, I can hear you..."
Terry quickly blush at Casey's remark. He swallows hard before diverting his gaze which had stay intensely on Casey's eyes.

Dear Casey,
Newt was invited to join the Final Ball. He asked me to come with him.
Are you going as well?
-Credence-
Casey gulps at the question. Again she scanned the letter in her heart, trying to ensure she read the right thing.
Casey lets out a small sigh. She didn't expect Credence to go to the ball. It's a good thing if they could attend it together but how can she go there without being scared of being painfully touched by others. Before this, she would always plead her parents not to bring her to any kind of event as she hates it. She hates the pain.
But now somehow, she starts to wonder whether she should go or not. Well, that is how much Credence affected her.
Yet to think of the possible torture she might have to face, Casey quickly makes up her mind. Although she feels reluctant and a slight guilt, she still finds the courage to write back to Credence.
Dear Credence
I don't think I would.
I'm sorry.
-Casey-
Credence intensely gaze at the letter's content. A slight pang comes to his heart. He hates to be with people in such a big event. But Newt asked him to accompany him. So he thought if Casey's there as well, maybe that would be fine for him to go. But now he starts to doubt it.
Credence half-heartedly retrieves a quill and a blank parchment before writes back.
If you're not going,
then there's no point for me to go...
-Credence-
Casey quickly detects dissapointment in Credence's word. Well, frankly, she does feel quite dissapointed with herself. So again with much guilt, she replies to Credence.
I think you should go to accompany Mr. Scamander. Maybe we can meet after the ball.
-Casey-
Casey sighs. That's it. Maybe that would calm Credence's heart a bit.
