I opened my eyes and thanked aunt Caroline for the makeup.

She is good; I don't even look like myself now,

I quickly locked my bedroom and wore the dress,

I slipped on my silver heels that I ordered a month ago.

I stared at myself and I looked impressive.

If I step out of my room now..

What would Louise think of me?

Will he insult me? Will he compliment me?

Wait, why am I thinking about that guy again!?

He doesn't mean anything to me anymore.

I decided to step out of the room and there was Louise, standing.

I examined him from head to toe and he looks dashing as always.

He fixed his hair upwards and it suits him.

He's wearing a gray suit with gray slacks and a light blue colored inner longsleeved shirt.

I don't want to look at him but I guess he is just irresistible.

The trip was silent and I kept myself from peeking at him every few seconds.

We arrived at the said venue via flying limousine.

Oh, the scene was just breath taking and spectacular from up here.

The venue, which is at the rooftop has the most amazing view.

You can see what's going on in Mars and the humongous stars are twinkling brightly.

The view is magical! I can't believe my eyes.

The red dim night sky of Mars compliments the shining glittering stars. It's like watching a sunset go down but better.

Jane, Tina and Karen rushed to me and greeted me with a hello.

"That is one gorgeous dress." Tina said while holding a part of my skirt.

"I know, right?" I smiled.

"You look beautiful." Karen commented.

"Oh shut up, no I don't." I shyly replied but I was really flattered.

"Aw, why won't you believe us? She looks pretty right Louise?" Jane who is looking at Louise asked.

As usual, Louise gave no comment and I don't care what he thinks anymore.

"Right!? Right!? Right?!" she repeatedly asked.

"Ah.. stop it, Louise doesn't like it---" I looked at Jane sternly.

"Right." Louise interrupted then walked away.

Tina, Karen and Jane giggled with delight. I can feel my cheeks feel hot.

"He likes you." Jane smiled.

"No. He doesn't." I replied but still surprised on what Louise said.

"Yes, he does." Karen added.

"No. He doesn't. Besides, even if he does, I'm currently in the process of forgetting all about him." I firmly replied.

"You can't do that." Tina laughed.

"Why can't I?" I asked.

"Because you love him!" Jane giggled.

I didn't respond because I know they were right.

I do love him, for now.

I will forget all about him.

I looked around and lost sight of Louise, maybe he went home.

My friends and I went to the counter to get some glasses of 'Rainbow Lemonade.'

We took a few sips then talked all night long.

Then the DJ announced that it's time for the last song,

"Grab all your special someones, it's time for the slow song."

Jane, Tina and Karen were asked to dance by their dates.

I was left alone.

I sat on the side bench and slowly wiped my tears.

I looked up the beautiful night sky and it doesn't seem so beautiful anymore,

Especially when you don't have anyone to share the beautiful evening with.

"Stupid heels, they really make my feet hurt."

"Stupid Louise! Good thing this mascara is water proof or else I'd look like a real live zombie."

"Stupid me, for falling hard for that guy..."

What's the use of being tied with an invisible string and binding us both together when the other person doesn't even love you back?!

"Stupid heart..."

The night ended and I faked a smile.

"That was fun right?" Tina said.

"Yeah it is." Karen added.

"The cute guy I danced with asked me out on a date." Jane said while flipping her hair.

Everybody had fun.

"So Kris, wanna go home with us?" Tina asked.

"Oh no thanks, I'm going to find Louise." I said.

"Well, okay then. Goodbye." Tina replied.

"Goodbye Kris!" Karen and Jane said their goodbyes in sync. They waved then went home.

I'm not really finding Louise.

I just need my time alone.

I looked up the night sky and sighed.

I reached through my purse to get the spare change Louise gave me the other day then decided to take the flying cab home.

"Delivery for Ms. Kris Brown." A delivery man holding a bouquet of tulips shouted.

"Ah, I'm Kris Brown." I smiled.

"Delivery." He said.

"Who gave this?" I asked.

"I don't know, I was just instructed to deliver it to you." He answered back.

"What does he look like?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know, how should I know. It's none of my business." He replied.

"Oh, um, thanks." I smiled.

He left then I got into the cab,

I wonder who left this here.

There's a note attached to it and I read it,

"Goodbye Kris. I love you."

Who the hell did this come from!?

I wanna know...
