VIII. Fuck Boy

Maine's knees almost gave up on her after a fuming and shirtless Richard knocked on her door. She was able to repel him but she's certain that won't be the end of it. And so Maine spent the next couple of days preparing for his revenge which surprisingly, never came. A week has passed since her clever revenge took place and so far, everything went by peacefully. That is, until she told Gabbi everything.

"Oh my gosh, buti na kaya mo? Kung ako yun baka hindi na ako umalis." She said in an eager voice after Maine finished the story.

"I know, nagulat nga din ako eh. I now feel strong ... like really strong ... Gabbi, alam mong marupok ang katawang lupa ko. Be proud ... very proud." She replied with a huge smile on her face. Getting her revenge on Richard made her feel good. However, the war that they have is still far from over and she must continue herself preparing for what he will do next.

"Did you see his ano ulit? Bakit di mo siya kinuhanan nang pictures. Pang blackmail mo sana." Gabbi uttered.

"Oo nga no, next time." Maine answered and smiled again. The loud whistling sound of the kettle then made her stand up from her seat and ran towards the stove. After turning it off, she quickly picked the kettle up and poured it in their coffee cups.

"I'll go to the mall nga pala. May papabili ka ba?" Gabbi asked her.

"Shawarma."

"Okay, pero mamaya pa ako uuwi ah?"

"Bakit naman?" Maine asked.

"Lalandi muna ako." Her cousin replied and they both laughed.

"Baliw ka."

"Just kidding, may date kami ni Ruru."

Maine's ears got alerted by the familiar name. The smile on her face faded and he tried her bets to remember where he heard that before.

"Ruru?" she asked Gabbi.

"Yes, don't tell me kilala mo siya? Di ba pinakita ko na yung picture?"

"Familiar ... but I don't remember."

Richard spent the past three days stalking Mine's social media profiles to get personal details that will make his plan easier. Since she won't back down on the war she started, he decided to make a move to end it all. And that will come in the form of seducing her.

He also updated his cousin on everything that went on so far and asked his loyalty to help him teach Maine a very valuable lesson about choosing her opponents. Tuesday morning has arrived and gloomy weather towered over them.

"Where are you going?" he asked Ruru.

"Mall, may bibilhin lang." his cousin replied, walking straight towards the door. Richard just nodded and Ruru left. The young model then spent the next hour planning his upcoming project. Another party he had planned so thoroughly he's 100% sure it will go well.

After the clock ticked 10 minutes past 9:00 am, he stepped out of the house to inhale some fresh and cold morning air. Within the first two minutes, he caught a glimpse of Gabbi walking away fast from their house. A brilliant idea then struck him. He grinned and ran after Maine's cousin.

"Gabbi!" he called out and she came to a halt in an instant. The young girl turned around and smiled at him.

"Good morning, Richard." She greeted sweetly.

"Good morning, can I ask you a favor?'

"Sure." Gabbi answered and he flashed his lopsided smile. Richard figured that by showing his assets, it will be easier for him to get what he wants.
