XLII. - Young Hearts -

Richard fell asleep a few minutes after she helped him change his clothes. Maine then fixed the mess they made and quietly left his room. She then went downstairs feeling a bit more relieved and liberated at the same time.

"How's he?" Gabbi asked when Maine sat next to her in the kitchen.

"Ayun ... tulog na ... I think gagaling na yun." She replied, thinking of the handsy stuff she did to him.

"That's great ... I made chicken and mushroom soup ... you want some?" Ruru asked.

"Yes, please." Maine answered. The rain continued to pour down hard outside the house, filling their surroundings with late afternoon haze and earthy smell. She stood up from her chair and closed the window.

"Pauwi na daw sina Vince ah? Nag-enjoy kaya sila sa Hong Kong ni Patrik?" Gabbi asked her.

"I hope so. Ano kayang ginawa nila dun?" she asked back.

"Ano pa? Edi nag-sword fighting." Ruru answered. Maine turned around and saw a cheeky grin on his face.

"Loko-loko ka talaga." She told him and his grin turned into a smile. Gabbi then rolled her eyes and cringed at the thought of it. Ruru prepared three separate bowls of soup for them. A couple of moments later, they started eating. Maine couldn't help but smile to herself; she just took their relationship to a whole new level.

Richard woke up two hours later. He looked at the windows and realized that it was already night time. He then took a deep breath and slowly adjusted to a sitting position. Richard rested his back against the bed's headboard and smiled when he remembered what Maine did to him.

"I'm so lucky." He whispered. A couple of knocks were then heard coming from right outside the door. The smile on his face vanished; he leaned to his side and told the person to come in. Maine's smiling face then came to his view. Richard's heart fluttered and his mind quickly replayed the steamy and handsy situation they shared a few hours before. She closed the door and sat on the edge of his bed.

"How are you?"

"I'm good. Definitely feeling better, thanks to you." He replied and her smile grew wider. Maine placed a hand on his forehead and gave him a satisfied look.

"Oo nga no? I knew it! Effective yung theory ko." She said and winked at Richard.

"You're right ... siguro dapat ginagawa mo yun sa akin everyday para di ako magkakasakit. Kahit yun na lang yung vitamins ko." He told her. Maine laughed and pinched his arm.

"Hindi araw araw pasko ... wag kang ano." She uttered.

"3 times a week na lang?"

"Neknek mo."

"Oh edi once a week na lang? Kung di pa pwede ... isang beses kada kinsenas ... huling tawad na yun, tapat na po."

"Baliw ka ... but we'll see." She said before giving him a very seductive stare. If only Richard wasn't feeling weak and worked up, he would have already pulled her in right at that moment. But instead, all he did was sit there and admire Maine's sexiness.

"Gutom ka na?" she asked.

"Yup." He replied, looking at Maine like she was a proper snack.

"What do you wanna eat?"

"You."

"Eh kung paa ko kung yung pakain ko sa'yo? Umayos ka." She warned.

"Ahhh .... There's the Maine I know ... anything hot, please." Richard said before coughing.
