Started out like in the movies, but it ended like a bad dream.

- 5 Seconds of Summer (She Looks So Perfect)

I sat there on my table facing the window. I sat there as I tried to rack my mind for inspiration, but no matter how hard I tried it did not come.

Finally giving up on writing something for tonight I stood and went out for the kitchen.

"Oh. Gising ka pa?" I heard a voice shocking the hell out of me. "Mom. I almost died right there." I said as I held my chest and turned to look at her standing by the door.

"Anong oras pa lang Kisses? Still working for that project?" Sabi nya sa akin as she walked to my side and grabbed a cup.

"Yes mom, I am still working on it." I said and gave out a small smile.

"You should rest, after all inspirations usually come when you least expect it." She said and kissed my forehead.

Yeah. Maybe she is right, but how can I be too sure? What if it does not come? What manuscript will I submit?

Kisses. Come on. This is what you do best, right? And this is what I had wanted for so long, now the opportunity is just within my reach.

I took a cup and decided to make myself a coffee to clear my mind.

As I sat there nursing my cup of coffee my thoughts drifted to him once more. Him. He loves coffee just like I do, one of the many things that has drawn us together.

He loves his coffee with lots of milk, and I just love mine black.

I smiled. How could he be doing now? Is he fine? Is he finally happy?

Oh Kisses. Please stop torturing yourself already. Just focus on your current project. Focus on bettering yourself.

As I finished my cup of coffee I stood and decided to get myself back to work. I need to give Sir Francis something by next month and making a manuscript on a small amount of time is not easy, that is what I assure you.

My phone is ringing as I went in my room, and much to my chagrin it is Charlene who is sir Francis' assistant.

"Good morning." I said trying to make my voice sound as enthusiastic as I could. After all, I need to impress her and make it sound I am making some progress.

"Good morning too Kisses, sir Francis just wants to check on your progress. After all you only got a month now from the deadline." She said as I finally shook my head in surrender and faced my work place.

"Well, everything is doing good. Although I think this is going to live up to my previous ones." I lied, well on the part that everything is good but yes of course I am worried of this project not living up to the ones that made them love my works.

"Oh darling. Your works are fantastic. After all, they have been best sellers. We know you have so much potential." She said as I imagined her smiling brightly at me.

"Yeah. I hope that I do have it in me." I said as I propped myself back on my seat.

"You could do that. We'll be waiting." And then she ended the call leaving me alone with my thoughts and fears.

What should I write about? I have lost my very inspiration. How am I to start all over again? Or should I write about my heartaches now?

No Kisses. You'll just bore them with such stories. Ugh. You are better than this. Come on.

But then I thought of something.

Yeah. Maybe that might work. And once more I dived in head first on a story I am weaving for the fascination of others.
