Chapter 19 Ghostium Z\ A Special Reunion

A\N For the new team members, I just might add both Dratini and Shinx (maybe as a Luxio). I love them both and they add a good element to the team. Hope that's alright. For this chapter ,I decided to make this reunion a little early, unlike in the game. I just feel it'll add more urgency during the whole return to the Aether Paradise part.

You saw all the toys and wondered why they were still here. They all sat on the shelves and what not, collecting dust. So far you've seen Ghastly and  Haunter.Which Pokemon would be next?Maybe it was just you, but it felt like every toy was staring at you. Creepy. Maybe the next ghost would be Gengar. Hopefully not. You looked around at all the toys but nothing looked out of place. A nearby lamp casted all of your shadows on the floor. You looked at your shadow, it matched you perfectly. (This shadow thing is for all you Kingdom Hearts fans. It just fit since Gengar do actually mess around with people's shadows) The closer you stepped towards the light, the bigger your shadow became. It was interesting to see. When you got as close as you could towards the light, you felt the temperature drop. You looked around you frantically. Nothing. "What are you doing?" Gladion asked raising an eyebrow. You stopped in your tracks, "Looking for the next Pokemon" you told him. He shook his head and you went back to searching.  It was obvious a ghost Pokemon was trying to play a prank on you, but the temperature dropped freak you out. "Can you feel how cold it is?" you asked Gladion.  "Not really", he said. He wasn't any help. You turned to face your shadow and it suddenly became alive. It rose from the ground, standing tall. Its head touched the ceiling and it grew in size. What the hell was going on. The feeling of being towered by this thing scared you. You wanted to run. Eevee was just as scared and confused, hiding behind Gladion. Shoot, you'd hide behind him too. "It's just a trick remember.Use the light", Gladion told you "Light makes the dark disappear" he said. That's right.You didn't linger another second. You grabbed the lamp and jabbed it at your shadow, threateningly. Your shadow took a step back, while you kept moving forward. You eventually touched the shadow with the lamp's light. Once you touched it, the light made it vanish. You were glad that thing disappeared. A laughter could be heard from above and there it was, Gengar, taking delight from being your shadow. Whatever Gengar did, was creepy for sure. You've never seen a ghost do such a thing, but it was just be creepy for kicks. Your heart rate returned to normal, "I'm glad it was just Gengar and not a real thing" you confessed. "Pokemon can do all sorts of things", Gladion said. Good to know. -.-

You took a picture of Gengar and was glad to move on. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw something small move into the back room. What was that? Well, you knew where to go next. You lead the party of you, Eevee and Gladion into the back room. Inside were pictures of Pikachu all over the walls. "Guess someone likes Pikachu...a lot", Gladion said while observing the pictures. Pikachus were cute and you liked them too, but the number of pictures on the wall was concerning. You felt Eevee paw at your legs, telling you to turn around. Behind you was a small Pokemon. It looked like a Pikachu but not really. You were confused, "Is it a Pokemon?" you wondered. The unknown Pokemon looked at you weirdly. Could this be the Totem? Gladion observed it for a minute, " I recall hearing about a Pokemon that dressed like a Pikachu. It's called a Mimikyu" he explained. It was strangely cute. You took a picture of it and it retaliated. It was in fact the Totem, its aura flared. Eevee jumped out in front of you determined, "Eevee you want to battle?" you asked. At first you weren't sure, but  you knew Eevee was a stronger Pokemon. Eevee cried out accepting the battle. You nodded, "Ok Eevee lets do this. Use Bite" you told it. Eevee skipped toward Mimikyu and went for a bite. Mimikyu used Double Team, creating five versions of its self. Eevee attacked the closest one, a fake. Four Mimikyu remained. "Be careful Eevee. Watch your step", you told it. Eevee remained vigilant, constantly watching all four Mimikyu. All the Mimikyu whirled their tail around, attempting to hit Eevee. It was going for a Slash attack. Activating its Run Away ability, Eevee was able to dodge the attacks. "Good job Eevee" you cheered it on. How were you going to find out which one was the real Mimikyu? There are four of them and only one is the real Pokemon. "Gladion what type is Mimikyu?" you asked him. You didn't know, it was your first time seeing this Pokemon. "It's fairy and ghost type. Most of Eevee's normal attacks won't hurt it" he informed you. So Eevee's Swift won't hurt it but it should get rid of the copies, "Eevee I need you to hit all the copies at once with Swift, can you do that?" you offered. Eevee nodded and decided to give it a try. Eevee stood in the middle of the four Mimikyus and fired off a beam of stars towards the ceiling. Well that's one way to do it. The Swift attacked rained down on all the Pokemon. Three of the copies vanished once hit and the true Mimikyu remained. It was unphased by the attack. "Gold star for creativity Eevee", you praised it. Eevee jumped up and down happily. But the battle wasn't done yet.
