Chapter 43 Time to Talk

Back at the altar, everything seemed to be at peace again. There wasn't any stress sitting on your shoulders. The battle was difficulty, but you overcame it. Now it was finally time to rest. Hapu was waiting, "I felt the need to come up here, yet everything looks alright" she said. Lillie nodded, "Thanks to Solgaleo and Lunala, everything turned out ok. But my mother..." she paused. Hapu gave Lusamine a look over, "She's weak but I believe she'll be alright with some rest. Allow me to take her to town. I know a short cut" Hapu offered. Lillie was pleased, "Thank you Kahuna Hapu" she said. With some help from Guzma, Hapu was able to place Lusamine on Mudsdale's back. The two of them left back to town.

Lillie turned back to face Solgaleo, "Solgaleo, I mean Nebby, all I wanted to do was help you get back home. But you ended up helping me over and over. Thank you... both of you" she said. Both legendaries were happy to have helped us. Lillie's smile faded, "You're too big to be with us now. Your home is here with Lunala. I know you will do a good job protecting the islands" she told it. Good-byes are never easy. "We'll all miss you Nebby", you said. Solgaleo didn't look to happy to be left behind. Lillie put on a brave smile, "I promise to come back to this island to visit you ok. Remember, you're a legendary Pokemon now. You have a duty with Lunala" she said. Both legendaries looked at each other and nodded. With their powers they recreated the Sun and Moon Flutes. They insisted that you guys kept them. Lillie took ahold of the sun flute, "Thank you" she said. You held the moon flute in your hands, you ought to keep this in a safe place. But why did they give you the flutes? It was then you heard a strong male voice, "Please call us if you need our aid" it said. You all were shocked. "I'm not the only one who heard that right?", you asked looking at Lillie and Gladion. Gladion shook his head and smiled, "It was Nebby" he said. Lillie was shocked the most, "I never knew you could talk Nebby" she said surprised. Solgaleo roared, "It wasn't until I evolved into this form. But please do use the flutes. I would enjoy to see you all again someday" he spoke. Mind blown, but awesome. " I may not have a history with you three like Solgaleo, but I can tell you three are pure of heart and therefore will aid you any way I can", a feminine voice said. Lunala. This was amazing. You smiled, "We will call for your aid someday. We promise" you told them. Lillie agreed, "Right, but I fear I must go back to town to take care of my mother. We can't stay" she said her voice sad. Solgaleo stepped forward, "Then allow us to take you back to town. It would be our pleasure" he offered. Lillie's face lit up, "That would be great Nebby. You're the best" she said wrapping her arms around his neck. Solgaleo was delighted. "What about Hapu and Guzma? They left already" Gladion said. Lunala flew upwards, "Then allow me to go get them. I will see you all at the Poni Plains, outside of town" she said, then took off to go catch up with them.

Second time to ride a legendary Pokemon, all right! Upon his back sat Lillie in front, you in the middle and Gladion behind you. Solgaleo stood up, "Everyone ready?" he asked. Lillie gave the ok, "Ready Nebby" she said. Solgaleo roared and started with a mighty pounce of the peak of the altar. The feeling gave you Butterfrees in your stomach. With grace and agility, Solgaleo leapt over canyon walls and ran proudly in the light of the day. You could feel the power in his strides, yet he was ever so careful not to drop any of you. Leaping down from a canyon wall, Solgaleo landed in the Poni Plains. You all dismounted, but you had a little trouble getting down. That was like riding a roller-coaster but better and without seat belts. You hair showed how wild your ride was. "My apologies", Solgaleo said. You shook you head and fixed your hair, "It's ok. I'm fine....sort of" you said loving the ground. You heard Gladion chuckle, "I wish I could've seen your face on the ride over here" he said amused. You stood up, "Like you weren't scared" you said. He shook his head, "I wasn't. I like rollercoasters" he told you. Sure he did. Upon your arrival, Lunala wasn't far behind with Hapu, Guzma and Lusamine on her backside. "That's something you don't get to do every day Thank you Lunala", Hapu commented as she got off.  Summoning out her Mudsdale, she took Guzma and Lusamine to the port town.
