"Hey! Mackenzi, you ready to go?" I looked up at Becky as she ran up towards me, then to Alexa. My girlfriend sighed as Becky jumped around besides me.
"Where are you going?" Alexa asked. I sighed looking at the sad expression in her eyes.
"Just to work out, Becky needed a bit of help so I volunteered to help her." I got up from my position on the floor, grabbing my bag and my phone.
"I'll see you in a bit." I told Alexa walking over and kissing the top of her head. She didn't say anything, just looked away from me as me and Becky walked down to the gym at the bottom floor of the hotel.
"What's going on with her?" Becky asked me, walking by my side down the corridor and stairs.
"I have no idea. She was fine and then she just went, I think I'm gonna have to talk to her about it, I know when something isn't right." Becky nodded as we carried on down the stairs.
"Do you think it's me?" I looked at shaking her head.
"No! Well...I don't think so. She has no reason to get funny over you." I thought back on earlier, remembering how Alexa's expression completely changed as soon as Becky walked through the door, in a negative way of course. I couldn't begin to comprehend Alexa being a jealous person but after what Becky said the thought just couldn't leave my mind.
All through our work out I felt as if I should have just stayed away from Becky. Even though Alexa was back in our room I still felt like any sort of close movement or communication would make me feel guilty for something I shouldn't be guilty for at all. "Mackenzi!" I looked up and over to Becky, thinking she was in trouble. She nodded over to the door, so I turned around seeing Alexa walk in with Eva. I turned back around quickly pretending not to notice them. I traced them slightly watching as they walked over to the punching bags together. I jumped down off of the bike and over to Becky.
"What was that double team move you wanted to practice?" I asked her. She looked up, showing me exactly how to do it and what she wanted me to do. I didn't dare look at Alexa knowing she'd be doing something with Eva or looking over at us making me feel conscious. We carried on for a short while, practicing a few other moves whilst we were at it. We tried one move for me, a power bomb. Becky was bent over in front of me as I practiced lifting her up onto my shoulders, catching a glimpse of Alexa and Eva every so often.
"Do you think you could maybe get down a bit lower, some more leverage to raise you." I watched Becky, but what a bad request that was, as Alexa looked over, marching over to us.
"What the hell are you doing!" Becky stood up, looking at me and then to Alexa. I smiled weakly at my girlfriend who did not look happy at all. "What are you playing at?" She turned to face me, and despite her small stature she was really beginning to terrify me a bit.
"Becky's helping me practice a power bomb, is that alright?" Becky smirked over at Alexa who looked down at the floor. "You need to sort yourself out, and not do this here. Throwing around some sort of accusation, what is going on?" My temper got the slight better of me, as I began to grow more and more tired of Alexa's pettiness.
"Can we go upstairs and talk?" I sighed and nodded in response. I looked to Becky walking over and hugging her.
"I'll catch you in a bit," I whispered into her ear as me and Alexa left the gym. The whole walk back to our room was in silence. I was angry, she was embarrassed and the conversation we were about to have was not to be done in public.
We walked in as I slammed the door behind me. Alexa ran her hands through her hair, turning around to look at me. "I think maybe you should start." I told her.
"Alright, I'm sorry." I shook my head in complete disbelief.
"Is that it? No attempt at even the slightest bit of explanation, just a quick apology. I'm sorry Alexa but that isn't going to sort this out this time, you embarrassed me, but most importantly you embarrassed Becky." She sat down placing her head in her hands.
"Fine. I'm jealous okay. I hate how much time you spend with Becky. I feel like you've just forgotten about me and care much more for your own best friend rather then your girlfriend." I walked over to her sitting beside her. I placed my finger under her chin causing her to look up over at me."Why didn't you just say? That would have been so much easier then causing all of this?" I sat in shock at what she was saying, yet disappointed in myself for not realising sooner.
"I was embarrassed, just like how you and Becky felt earlier, I didn't know what to say that would make the situation less awkward." I sighed, leaning in and softly pecking her lips.
"Lets just forget about it. I promise that I will spend more time with you, and love you. Recognise your feelings more and make sure that you know you're my number one." She leaned in kissing my lips, resting her head on my shoulder.
"I promise that I will tell you how I feel instead of bottling it up, and stop getting so worked up about things when there is no need to." I looked down kissing the top of her head.
"I love you and only you, now, always, and forever."
"I love you too Mackenzi, I'm so sorry." I shook my head chuckling at her.
"You've got no reason to apologise, I can't even remember what happened." I felt her giggle, the rise and fall of her body calming me, as I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her down onto the bed to cuddle.
