"Cassidy, are you just gonna stand there?" I looked across at Sasha, not saying a word, the look in my eyes telling her everything she needed to know. "Oh, you're good girl." I nodded, turning back around to the screen, watching on as Sami stood tall.

"Let's face it Sami, in this company you're wasted, useless, unwanted. You really think you're something special, but ultimately all you do is ride on the coat tails of others. You wanna be the underdog, you want everyone to feel sorry for you."

"You're supposed to be Sami Zayn, the guy who went face to face with Kevin Owens, but look where he is now, and look where you are. How long are you going to play these games Sami? How long is it going to be until you face up and realise that whilst everyone else goes on to bigger and better things, you're still right down at the bottom."

"I may not be the champion, or picked to star in all these movies, but I'm a somebody Mike, and what are you? A nobody. I shouldn't have to stand here and waste my time on you, there's people much better in that back room looking for a fight. The two of you are a joke act, the power of love, please, I've seen more affection between my toothbrush and toothpaste."

Sami turned his back to the two of them, walking to the ropes, parting them to leave, when Maria's finger tapped on the back of his shoulder.

"Who do you think you are?" Sami span on his heels, looking down a couple of inches at the high heeled woman. " You don't just walk away from Mike and Maria Kanellis, you stand and you wait, and listen to what we have to say."

Sami stood silent, not saying a word, he knew he didn't have to play up to the two of them, if only he managed to bide his time .

"You wanna be the underdog, then why doesn't the underdog take this." Within a split second her perfectly manicured hand rose up and struck Sami perfectly on his right cheek, tickling the top of his beard.

He stumbled back slightly, but his smug smile grew. "You didn't want to do that." He warned, making the two of them only chuckle louder."

"See you later ladies." Their smiles grew wide watching me stand up and run through to the holding room, giving the producer a quick nod, my music playing out. I ran down to the ring, watching the two of them slide out in the opposite direction.

"I knew you wouldn't let me down," Sami whispered, handing me a microphone. I gave him a quick smile, the adrenaline soaring within me, unable to stand still on my feet.

"You wanna mess around with my man, I'll be coming for you, do you hear me?" The crowd erupted, reaching volumes I'd never quite heard before.

Of course the two of them shook their heads, continuing their childish fits of giggles, not believing a word I said.

I felt the warm grip of Sami lace into my hand, pulling me back a couple of paces, raising my hand in the air. Everything felt so perfect, it had all been built up to mean so much, sharing a ring with him was simply incredible.

We knew the show had to continue, so quickly slid out of the ring once we'd fallen to commercial, racing up the ramp to get out of the way for them to continue.

"That was incredible." Neither of us had time to part the curtain before Hunter walked over, shaking both our hands. "Who knew the two of you could work so well in just a matter of seconds."

"It's all down to Cassidy, she's a natural in that ring." I smiled gratefully over at him, squeezing his hand softly.

"Nonsense, the chemistry the two of you have in that ring is definitely something that we're going to want develop further. This could be the start of something big for you both." On the inside all I wanted was to jump up and down and celebrate, the idea of spending more time in the ring with Sami being the most incredible prospect.

"Thanks," I weakly whispered instead, his tall stance still slightly intimidating me, despite his compliment.

"Well I'll let the two of you go, congratulations on another successful evening." The two of us walked around the mountain before us like two naughty school children, leaving the situation as soon as possible.

Once we were out of view, our hands parted, the two of us leaping up and down, throwing our arms in the air. "Did you see their faces, they were so stunned to see you there."

"I've told you before, no one speaks badly to my man and gets away with it." The excitement eventually fell away, replaced by feelings of pride.

"I hope this turns into something good, I'm so sick and tired of being hyped up and brought back down, maybe I'll finally have my chance to shine." I walked over so I was stood right in front of him, bringing my hand up to cup his cheek.

"You work so hard, you'll get your chance, let's just hope this is it. We've got so far to travel together, and who knows, Wrestlemania is right around the corner." Sami's blue orbs lit up at the thought, Mania being all he had ever dreamed of.

"Don't get my hopes up Cassidy." I shook my head, reaching up on my tiptoes, delicately kissing his slightly chapped lips.

"I'm not, with how hot Mike and Maria are, and the two of us are clearly working well with their help, I don't see why this can't go further." He nodded, although I knew he wasn't wanting to look too far ahead just yet.

"I'm so excited," he whispered, still not quite wanting to get too ahead of himself.

"I know, me too," I replied, pecking his lips once again.
