"Have you got any plans for your week off?" Seth looked up, taking a huge sip from his water bottle, bringing it down to reveal a huge smile on his face.

"I do. I've got a date tomorrow too." I smiled weakly, trying to mask the pain. Of course I wanted to be happy for him, try and show him that I'm happy about it. "I'm really looking forwards to it actually Violet, I really feel like this could be going somewhere."

"Why don't you tell me about her?" Time after time I'd gone through this, faking my smile, asking him questions to try to appear interested, it had almost became the norm. The only thing was, nothing ever came of it, he'd stop talking to them after one or two dates.

"She's awesome. She's got pink hair, she's pretty nerdy, loves wrestling, what isn't to love?" His description sounded vaguely familiar, creating a horrific nervous feeling in my stomach.

"Are you going on a date with Sasha Banks?" The corners of his mouth turned up further, as he nodded his head to confirm my worst thoughts. Over the past few weeks him and Sasha had grown closer, it was all the little things.

Whenever the two of them were in a room together they'd be exchanging glances, smiling at each other when they thought no one was looking, and once I could have sworn I saw Seth wink at her as she walked in after a match.

"I really think Sasha could be the one V." I smiled, grabbing my phone off the table, sliding my chair back.

"I'm really happy for you Seth, but I've got to go. I'll see you next week." He smiled back up at me, watching me walk away, without any urgency to call me back. I turned back to look at him, noticing him pull his phone out straight away, just being able to see Sasha's name at the top of his phone, before it was out of view.

I couldn't help but burst out into tears once I'd got back to my car. Seth was all I ever wanted in life, he wasn't just my best friend, he was the most amazing guy in the world. Handsome, caring, hilarious, everything any girl could ever dream of. I'd loved him since the day I met him, but over time the meaning of this 'love,' developed into more then I could have ever dreamed of.

I'd try and tell myself it was pathetic, I was making up for those teenage feelings I missed out on from school after finally finding a good looking boy. I'd made the mistake all those years ago by becoming best friends with him, I should have been more open, when he told me how he'd love to take me out for the day, I should have said yes.

I knew it was stupid, but I couldn't prevent the wet spots forming under my eyes, quickly wiping it all away. I needed a distraction, something to take my mind off things.

I'd never driven my car so fast, revving the engine all the way through the dimly lit streets of Florida until I got home. I didn't want to be anywhere else apart from curled up in my bed right now. Usually I'd be fine, he'd be ringing me up the following day to tell me it didn't work out, but I had a horrible feeling that with Sasha, it was not going to be the case.

And how I was right. The whole week I'd spent my time scrolling through social media seeing pictures of the two of them plastered everywhere, with huge goofy smiles on their faces. I didn't want to face it, but I'd lost, I'd lost Seth. He looked so happy, just like how I expected him to be if that were me, how he was in what now I could only refer to as fiction.

I didn't dare face them at work today, but what choice did I have. The week flew by, a massive shame really, and I'd soon found myself back in the halls of WWE in a brand new arena for the next live show.

I'd heard the two of them were both around through the grapevine, not leaving each other's sides the whole time. The last thing I wanted to see was Seth all loved up, and Sasha feeling all coy in his hold.

It wasn't even their relationship that bothered me, I'd just lost my best friend. He had a new girl to text when he was feeling sad, or moan to when his mum refused to cook his favourite meal when he came home.

I sat in my usual spot, sipping on my piping hot coffee, reading the novel I'd found myself lost in over the past few days, trying to recover from my hard leg workout. I'd put my headphones in, in the hope that people would get the message and leave me alone.

I'd lost count of the number of pages I'd turned to open up new chapters, but as my eyes scanned the page faster and faster, getting in deeper into the storyline, I couldn't help but feel dejected when the white bud was ripped out of my ear. "Do you mind?" I shouted, looking up only to see Seth staring down at me, making me gulp.

"Next time I won't bother." I sighed, shaking my head, putting my bookmark back into my book, keeping my page.

"Sorry, take a seat." He stepped aside and pulled the chair opposite me out, sitting down, keeping his glare on me. I could feel his leg shaking under the table, and his smile growing on his face. "Come on, just tell me what happened?"

"Violet, it was amazing, I cannot believe how amazing she is, we're so close already, I feel like I've known her for so long." I smiled, taking another sip of my coffee, feeling the harsh temperature hit the back of my throat. I could feel the growing sickness sensation in the pit of my stomach.

"Sounds like you crazy kids had a great time." He nodded, grabbing his water out of his bag, taking a sip.

"Yeah, talk about the devil." I turned around and saw Sasha walking over, with a massive spring in her step, walking over and throwing her arms around Seth. "Hey gorgeous, I missed you."

"I missed you too," she whispered sweetly, pecking his cheek. I coughed loudly, just in case my awkwardness wasn't obvious enough. "Oh, hi Violet."

"Hello." I grinned, watching her walk around and perch herself on Seth's lap. If the room was silent I was pretty sure you'd be able to feel my heart breaking in front of them. "I'll tell you what Sasha, I'll leave you guys to it, you have my seat."

"Are you sure? Don't leave on my account." I smiled, shaking my head, picking up my things.

"No, it's not you," I lied, "I've got somewhere to be anyway."

"I'll see you later," Seth told me, picking Sasha up and placing her in the seat I'd just abandoned, showering her with kisses along her neck. I sighed, spinning on my heels and walking out of the room, sniffing quickly to push back the tears that were threatening to spill.

"Be strong V," I muttered to myself, trying to hold it together despite the strong aching in my heart. Seth was all I ever wanted, and now he was gone.
