I sat by Finn watching everyone walk past. "Have you got a match tonight?" Finn asked me. I glanced quickly over at him shaking my head. He chuckled at me, "so what are you doing here?"

"I just thought I'd come and support everyone." I turned away from Finn looking up the corridor and seeing Sami walk down. My eyes followed him the whole way down, blocking out the rest of my surroundings, and all the things Finn was saying.

"Y/N." I felt his elbow dig into my sides as Sami walked off into one of the rooms. "I don't suppose lover boy has sent you this way." I bit my tongue trying to hide my blush by pulling my hood up.

"What are you talking about?" I questioned, pretending to be completely oblivious about what he was on about. I wasn't the best at disguising my feelings, or making my actions a bit more subtle.

"It is so obvious, you can't even fake it. Why don't you just ask him out?" I looked at him as if he had gone crazy, shaking my head vigorously. "I'm sure he'd feel the same way about you Y/N, Sami is a good guy."

"Do you think I don't know that? That's why I find myself completely in awe of him and infatuated by every little thing he does." I hated how conflicted everything was, I always had little dreams of how Sami and I would be as a couple, or how much we'd wind all our friends up with our affection, and then reality came back around.

"I know you better than anyone else, and you trust me with everything right?" I nodded my head. "Then believe me when I tell you that if you really feel something for Sami, telling him will make it all happen. I may joke and laugh about it, but deep down all I want is for you to be happy." I smiled pulling him into a quick hug.

"Thank you," I whispered into his ear. We stayed in our little embrace for a few moments when I felt his grip squeeze me tighter.

"Look." he pulled away from me so I could look to where my back was facing. I twirled around and saw Sami walking down with his phone in his hand. "Sami!" He shouted catching his attention.

"You idiot," I quickly whispered watching him walk over. He put his phone in his pocket, smiling at us both.

"You alright you two?" Finn and I both nodded. Sami moved across and went to sit next to Finn, but Finn slid across leaving space in between the two of us for Sami to perch. I sighed to myself, looking over at Sami. "Something wrong?" I quickly realised that I hadn't been as quiet as I thought I had been, catching his glance.

"She loves you," I could hear Finn whisper into his ear. He smugly smiled over at me from behind Sami, who raised his eyebrow at me. I could feel the blush on my cheeks going as I quickly scrambled my thoughts together.

"He thinks he is so funny," I said falsely. As I somehow always managed to do, I completely over dramatized what I was saying, when telling a lie. I lightly hit Sami on the shoulder, leaning back in my seat and laughing hysterically. The two of them looked at me like I had gone crazy, shaking their heads.

I felt completely humiliated, mainly because of Finn. I didn't know what to say next, so instead pretended to feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, as if the situation couldn't get any worse. I hid the background from the both, using my excellent acting skills to tell them both that I had been summoned by some of the other girls and that I had to make a quick exit.

I didn't go to the girls, instead I went to catering to get over my embarrassment with a nice cup of tea. I sat right in the back corner in the hope no one would see me, scrolling through my phone to take my mind off things. I zoned out completely as to what was going on around me, feeling completely relaxed that I didn't have a match tonight.

That was alright, until I felt someone cough in front of me. I slowly looked up to see Sami stood in front of me, then quickly sit down opposite me. I put my phone down on the table, watching him. "I couldn't just leave what happened earlier, it's been playing on my mind." I didn't know what to say, so looked down at the ground. "Y/N, was what Finn said true." I sighed running a hand through my hair.

"Kind of. I don't love you, but I do like you." I couldn't help but kick myself at how awkward I had managed to make that sound, waiting in anticipation for him to walk off.

"That's good, because I like you too." I looked at him in confusion, this must have been some sort of wind up the two of them had planned. "For real." I knew he could tell I wasn't so sure, after everything that happened earlier I think I had every right.

"That's good." It was like Sami suddenly had this power over me that meant I could hardly speak. He giggled at me, his smile only getting bigger.

"You're so funny Y/N." He winked over at me, making me swoon and wobble in my seat, but I quickly styled it out. "I've got a match in ten minutes, but I have one thing to ask you." I sat forward resting my chin on my hands which were resting on the table. "How do you fancy dinner after the live event?" For the first time all night I smiled a genuine smile. "Great," he said getting up from the table. He came over to my side, kissing the top of my head and then walked out to get ready. I smirked to myself watching him walk away, exhaling a deep breath of relief.
