I stood in the ring, smiling at the crowd's cheers. They always supported me, just like I thought Seth did.

He was my best friend, so I thought, but things never seemed as good as they were in my life. He met Leighla, he loved her, she loved him. The two of them were obsessed with each other, they still are. She's all he ever wanted, he was all I ever wanted.

I was his best friend. Was. But he changed, just like I thought he would. When he found someone better I was kicked aside like a piece of rubbish. To Seth I was a nobody, I'd been kicked down the pecking order.

Was I asking for him to spend all his time with me and not his girlfriend? No. But a quick hello would have been nice.

No one knew my inner struggle, trying to feel like I was of some importance to him, but the truth was, I simply was nothing to him anymore.

I wasn't willing to put myself through the pain, instead opting to stand on my own two feet. I deleted his number, blocked his social media, scrapped all our photos together, I was done.

"Thank you guys for the warm welcome tonight. I'm out here tonight as the top women in this division, to issue an open challenge to any woman in that locker room to take me on." The noise in the arena erupted, but I didn't expect anything less.

I turned to look up the ramp, watching the titan closely. Typically the movie began playing before the song, giving a quick indication.

We all stared, waiting and waiting, but no one seemed to be interested. I sighed in embarrassment, nothing new. Here was me trying to make myself into a big and terrifying character, just to be ignored by everyone.

I slowly raised the microphone to my mouth in the hope that someone would make a last minute achievement, but there was nothing. "I'm really sorry-"

My speech was cut off by the theme of Kevin Owens, who confidently strolled out with Chris tagging on just behind him. He cracked his knuckles, shaking his head down at me. I looked for a microphone but there was nothing in his hands except for his gold belt that shone under the arena lights.

I dropped the microphone, knowing Kevin so well, he'd only be opting for a fight. I could take him on, of course I could, I was a strong and independent woman after all.

The pair reached the bottom of the ramp, stretching their arms up in the air, keeping their evil glances on me the entire time. Chris stepped forwards first, standing on the apron, followed by Kevin, who dropped his belt on the apron beside him.

As the two of them stood closer, their breath just hitting me, the daunting realisation of what I'd got myself into hit me like a tonne of bricks. There was no way I was coming out of this situation alive.

Like any good tag team, the two of them stepped in between the ropes at the exact same time. I kept stepping back, but there was only so far I could go before my back came into contact with the ropes. "Please don't do this," I whispered to them both, but their stern expressions told me they weren't going to be as so pleasant.

Chris stepped forwards first, grabbing hold of me from behind, locking my arms behind my back. Kevin stood forwards, getting into my face, looking at me with a smug smirk. I knew what was coming, he was never one to joke about these kind of situations.

I shut my eyes, drowning out the boos of protests from the fans as to what was about to happen. I knew he'd milk it for all it was worth, hanging on for that moment he connected with me.

I didn't know what had happened, but their boos miraculously turned into cheers. I didn't want to open my eyes to disappointment, only to feel a fist collide with my face anyway, followed up by the release of my arms, sending me backwards onto the ring floor.

"Arica!" I could feel the ring spinning round at the top of my head, slowly opening my eyes and seeing a jet black haired guy leaning over me. "You're alright." My eyes focused more, pinpointing all of the features that made up Roman. "I'm gonna help you up," he said, wrapping his arms around me.

He slowly helped me up into a seated position, allowing me to scan the room and see Seth opposite me, punching away at Kevin's face. "Stop," I whispered, not thinking anyone would hear me, only for Seth to halt, turning to look at me.

I stared blankly at him, watching him sweetly smile at me. Kevin rolled out of the ring behind him with Chris' help. Roman let go of me, allowing Seth to come over to me. I was too dazed to even bother fighting him away. He placed his hands gently on my waist, standing me up so I was propped up on my feet.

"Are you okay?" He whispered, staring down right at me. I sighed, staring off to the fans, nodding my head. All I wanted was for him to let me go, but his eyes remained on me. I didn't know what games he was playing, pulling me to face him without space to move.

"What are you doing?" I whispered, pleading mentally that he'd let me go. He sighed, shaking his head, leaning in and placing his lips on mine.  I couldn't move, his grip was strong, his muscles had clearly expanded since he last held me.

I eventually found it in me to pull away, horrified that he'd done such a thing in front of the crowd. They didn't know all our history, nor did they need to. "You've got a girlfriend," I told him.

"No I don't Arica, there was someone else." It didn't surprise me, I'd heard it all before. "Aren't you going to ask who?" I shook my head, not caring at all, his love life was a vicious cycle after all. "It's you Arica. I miss you, you're my best friend, you're beautiful, you're mine."

I didn't know how, but his words brushed all the animosity aside. I dropped my shoulders, letting out a little sigh. For the first time his smile turned genuine, just like I was used to. "Come on," he told me, taking my hand, and leading me out of the ring, ignoring the many questions the fans rightfully had.
