I stayed busy the next few days making arrangements for us to head to New York. We had three people to pack for this time, and that meant a lot more clothes, and several extra loads of laundry for me, seeing as Annie loved to get dirty.

"Annie, come on sweetheart..."

"But mommy, I want to keep playing."

"I know sweetie, but we have to get up early in the morning, so we can go to New York."

"Oh...can I bring my teddy bear with me?"

"Yes you can. Now off to bed with you, darling."
She just smiled, as I gave her a big hug and kiss before she climbed in bed. It wasn't long before my baby girl was sound asleep, and I could continue packing.

Jeremy was making last minute arrangements with Joe to watch the house, and he would be home before much longer.

Jeremy's P.O.V

I knew Rowan was stressing out a bit, and honestly I guess I was too. We had no idea what was going on with me, not to mention our lives were just crazy.

We hadn't drifted apart, but it didn't help that we were both stressed out a great deal. I never meant for anything to come between us, and I was hoping that the trip to New York would do us both some good. This would also be our first family trip. I knew Rowan hated having to call off the wedding, but I didn't want to push her to do it. She needed less stress in her life, not more.

"Rowan, I'm home."

"In the living room, darling. Just finishing up our packing."

"Good, because I brought us cupcakes, and coffee."

"Jeremy, you are wonderful. I need both of those at the moment."

I smiled, sitting down next to her, handing her box, and coffee mug. She was quiet for a few moments just enjoying everything.

"This is really good."

"I'm glad you think so. I figured you could use a pick me up."

"You were right. Between Annie, and the dogs, it is a mad house here."

"I know, and I'm sorry for not being here to help."

"It's okay Jeremy. Someone has to look after the house for us. And Joe is the only one in town at the moment."

"That is true. Are we all set to lead in the morning?"

"Yes, I think so. The car is loaded, and Annie is sound asleep at the moment..."

"Do you want to go to bed?"

Rowan just nodded.
"I want to finish my food first."

"Then hurry up, and let's go to bed."
She shook her head with a laugh before finishing her cupcake, and downing almost all of her coffee. Ten minutes later, we had changed, and gotten in bed.

"I love you, Rowan."

"I love you too, Jeremy. Good night, darling."

"Good night, love."
