After a good night's sleep to rest from the day before, the girls and I got up, feeling refreshed and prepared for a day full of fun. I had a quick breakfast of coffee and a croissant and went upstairs to change. I had my snow clothes near the radiator all night to dry it off. At this point, they were slightly damp, but dry enough for me to put on.
Haruhi learned how to ski pretty quickly and already she stumbled a bit with the landing she learned how to stick it and we were going to bigger slopes and racing each other down them. I wanted to see if Haruhi wanted to ski again today or if she wanted to go sledding. As soon as I headed downstairs, I saw Haruhi at the desk, renting her snow gear. "Hey Haruhi," I greeted her by the desk. "Ready to go skiing again?"
"Actually, I was thinking about trying to go sledding today," Haruhi responded. "Want to join me?"
"Do you need me to teach you how to sled?" I teased.
"No," Haruhi laughed, a small blush dusting her cheeks. "It looks simple enough."
"Well, I'm going to put my ski gear back," I turned to head back up to my shared room. "I'll meet you outside, okay?"
"I'll be waiting," Haruhi nodded as she took the sled that was given to her and head back out. I traveled back up to my room, putting my ski gear near my futon and suitcase and went back downstairs and headed out to see Haruhi parked on a high slope, waiting for me. She waved me over and I walked over to her. "I'll sit in the back since I'm taller than you," Haruhi said.
"Yeah," I agreed as I sat down in the front and stuck my set out in the side of the sled to keep in it place. The sled wiggled a bit from Haruhi getting in the slid but Haruhi held the sled down by sticking her arms out behind her and hold us both both. I stuck both of my legs back in as I took the rope that turned the sled left and right.
"I'm going to push off now, okay?" Haruhi asked.
"I'm ready," I nodded as I tightened my grip on the ropes.
"Three...two...one!" Haruhi pushed us off and our sled slid forward. Haruhi quickly wrapped her arms around my waist and held tightly as our sled sped down the hill and we squealed with laughter as we slid down the slope. We reached the base of the slope and I pulled the rope to the left, turning our sled to the left as our sled gradually slid to a stop. We were still laughing from the adrenaline rush of going down that hill. I turned my head behind me and saw Haruhi howling with laughter, our faces once again mere inches from each other. My laughter quieted down to a blush as I stared into a Haruhi's face. Since when did Haruhi looked so...attractive?
A snowball smacked Haruhi on the side of her head, interrupting our moment as Haruhi whipped her head to see who threw that snowball at her. Hikaru and Kaoru stood, smirking off to the side as Hikaru tossed a snowball in the air and caught it with his hand. Haruhi jumped out of our sled and quickly made a snowball, loving it at the twins. The twins jumped and it hit a female student behind her. She squealed at the impact of cold snow and turned around, seeing Haruhi with her arm out. "It..." Haruhi started.
