Chapter Four

I had to secure the area first before we approached the situation ED thought to himself as he got the team assembled out side the two story family house. ''ok Jules and Spike you guys are around back I need eyes and ears as soon as you can get them.

''Sam and Wordy you two are with me.'' I told the guys Lou was in the truck recording everything that was going to go on. ''ED I still have the young girl patched in.'' I here Lou tell me ''ok great I need to know where everyone else is.'' Ed replied to Lou ''you got it boss patch coming in right now.''

''hey what is your name?'' I asked the young girl on the line with me ''my my name is molly'' she told me through the tears and sobs that I had to strain my ears to hear the young crying girl.'' ''ok that's good Molly my name is Ed I am here to help you and your family but first I need to know where in the house are you right now sweetie?'' I asked the young girl again ''I am at the top or the stairs '' she told me ''ok that's good you are doing good can you see your parents and brother from where you are hiding right now?'' I asked the young girl as I checked in with the rest of my team. ED thought to himself as he moved closer to the house along with Wordy and Sam Lou was in the mobile command center.

''I am hiding at the top of the stairs'' the young girl kept telling me '' I know sweetie can you tell me where your family is right now?'' I asked her again ''my mom and dad and brother are in the kitchen.'' she replied back to me ''ok that's good you are doing good me and my guys are going to come in through the front door can you stay where you are until we get into the house.'' I told the young girl as I checked in with Jules and Sam to let them know the situation that was about to un fold.'' ED radioed into Sam and Jules.

advancing towards the front of the house Jules and Sam where at the back of the house awaiting my orders to breach if need be but I would prefer to handle this the least Letal way possible. ED thought to himself as Lou radioed in to the whole team.

''guys the suspect name is Thomas Clark it turns out that he was just released from the phyicatric hospital. I have his doctor on the phone right now he tells me he is more of a danger to himself then other people and that according to his parents he has not taken his medication for three days. Lou told us

'' so we have an emotionally unstable teenager off of his medication who is a danger to himself and maybe other people if they try and stop him do whatever it is that he came back home to do.'' I told my team as we advanced slowly to the house and opened the door to find the young girl that was on the phone at the top of the stairs looking at us. I signaled to her to go back upstairs to the room and had spike follow the girl upstairs because I could not have a child in this mess.

slowly walking into the kitchen I made my self know to all that where there ''hello Thomas my name is ED Lane I am from the SRU I am here to help you son. I told the teenage boy who was shouting and pacing back and fourth with the gun still in his hands his parents where still sitting on the floor look everything.

''go away I don't need your help I know what I am doing.'' Thomas yelled at us at this time Jules and Sam had came in through the back door and Wordy was on my six with his gun raised at the boy hoping we don't ever have to use it. ''what is it that you came here to do?'' I asked him ''do you want to hurt your parents Thomas is that what you came here to do ?'' I asked him a little bit more louder to snap him out of what ever trance he was in.

''just stop I don't want to hurt them I just I just please just stop talking '' the young guy told me ''boss let me try and talk to him please I hear Wordy tell me ''are you sure ?'' I asked him ''yes sir I got this '' ''ok then''

''hey Thomas my name is Wordy how are you doing?" I asked him ''what happened to the other guy?"' he asked me ''he is still here me and my team are not going anywhere until we help you and your family.'' I told him ''NO YOU ARE NOT YOU LIE TO ME YOU WANT MY PARENTS TO BRING ME BACK TO THE HOSPTIAL AND LEAVE ME THERE FOREVER.'' Thomas yelled and pointed the gun at his head. ''no no I want what is best for you put the gun down.'' I told him and got closer to him.

''ED I don't have a clear shot Wordy is in the way I hear Sam tell me every one of us moving in on the boy and his scared parents.

''spike check In '' I radioed spike ''we are good ED how is it going down there someone want to see there brother.'' spike told me ''not yet son

''you don't know how I fell?'' Thomas yelled at us with tears in his eyes but at least he had put the gun at his side at this time.

''I might not know how you fell but I know what your parents are felling right now and I know that they would not want you to hurt your self.

''you don't know that they just want me to go away and that is what I am going to do.'' he told me lifting up the gun again.

''I have a daughter just like you '' I told him

''you have what '' he ask me putting the gun back down and stopped pacing back and fourth he seemed to be lisenig to me for a short time.

''I have a Daughter just like you and I worry about her all the time I worry if this will be the day where she hurts her self and end up back in the hospital or dead. I worry that I am not doing enough to help keep safe and in line. when you have a child like that it is hard the simplest thing like going to the movie comes out to be a project sometimes and yes parents get tired but they still love you and care for you and they don't want to see you dead.'' I told Thomas as I moved in closer and grabbed the gun out of his hands.

crying into my arms I grabbed the teenage boy and let him cry as I gave the gun to ED and Jules and Sam helped his parents off the floor. ''do I have to go back to the hospital?'' Thomas asked me ''yes you do son until you get better again.'' I told him ''I have to put the cuffs on'' I told him as I put the cuffs on him and he did not fight me as we walked outside of the house and I put him in the back of the ambulance.

''all clear Spike you guys can come down now'' I hear ED radioing into Spike who came down with the young girl and gave her to her parents.

getting back in the trucks after everything was taken care of we were all on our way back to the Barn.

I don't want to talk about it right now ok'' I yelled at ED who was driving ''ok man when you are ready we are here for you ok do you want to take a couple off days off because you have some days just let the boss man know ok. I hear ED tell me as we pulled into the barn walking into the barn I see my daughter waiting for me with Whinny

''daddy I want to go home daddy why do you look tired daddy why did you say for me to come here I want to go home.'' I hear my daughter telling me as she starts to follow me around ''baby we are going home just let me change my cholths and we are gone ok just sit back with Whinny and stay there.

leaving my daughter with Whinny I went to the locker room to change ''we can de breath tomorrow morning go be with your daughter. Parker told me I know I would have to tell them about my daughter but not today I was tired.

''come on baby lets go home'' I told my daughter as she grabbed my hand and smiled at me daddy can I sleep with you and mommy tonight?'' I hear my daughter ask me as we get into the truck. ''ill think about it.'' I replied to my daughter as we drove off.
