Chapter Fifty

I knew my dad was right when he told me I better tell Alice and my son that Grandpa Rick was going to pick them up after school. not so much John because he was good it was for Alice she was not good with change.

driving up to the school I parked the truck and told my children that Grandpa was going to pick them up after school today.

''grandpa is going to pick you guys up because me and your mom wont be home we are starting our weekend early. ''

I told my kids and John was ok with it Alice was quite

''ok whatever dad '' John told me getting out of the truck and walking towards the school building. I waited a bit and got out of the truck and Alice followed right behind me not saying a word. walking into the school building I checked in with the front desk and they gave me a sticker to put on my shirt and we walked to the principle office.

sitting on the chair we both waited for the principle to come out a short time later he did.

''come inside MR Wordy and Alice'' the principle told us and we both got up and walked inside his office all the time Alice had not said a word.

''so Alice you have three days of work to make up along with your Friday work and all is to be completed and handed in on Monday.''

the principle told my daughter and she just nodded her head in agreement

''honey I need a verbal answer from you did you hear what he said.'' I told my daughter turning around to face her.

''yes sir I herd him '' she replied to me

''ok hopefully you are good now and hopefully no more fighting and more telling someone before things like this happen.''

he kept telling her and she seemed to be in her own word and I needed her to be good before I left for the weekend. I would fell a lot better and more at ease if I knew she was ok in school right now and with everything new going on in her life right now.

''ok sir can I go now'' she asked the principle and he said ok and dismissed us both getting up I asked her where the nurses office was at. she walked with me over to the nurses office and the nurse was happy to see Alice.

''hi Alice you are back who is this with you.'' she asked Alice and she perked up a bit and told her who I was.

''this is my daddy'' she told her

''nice to meet you how can I help you?'' she asked me and Alice stayed by my side the whole time.

''we need a minute'' I told the nurse and she knew what I was talking about and led me to an empty room. I wanted to be with her before everyone else showed up I needed to know where she was at mentally.

''I did not want to go back to school today or any day for that matter.'' Alice thought to her self as she got into her dads truck and went off to school. I epically did not want to go see the stupid principle.

I knew after we got out of the principle office Dad would want to see if I was doing ok before he left for work. because that was the type of person that he was when it came to me or any other situation so when he asked where the nurses office was I walked him over there.

''hi Alice and who is this ?'' the nurse asked me and I told her that he was my father then my father asked her is there any where that we could go that was quite. so she showed him the same room that John took me to when I got my fit and he did not want to be embarrassed in front of the whole school.

dad closed the door behind us and I went to go sit on the chair thing that the doctors make you sit on.

''so baby how are you felling?'' my dad asked me getting serious yet soft at the same time which was him any way.

''I am ok daddy I just don't like being in the principle office that's all.'' I explained to him still sitting on the chair.

''are you sure that is all you want to tell me'' my dad told me putting his arms on his hips I hate that he can see right through me sometimes it sucks.

''well school sucks daddy.'' I told him and I started to laugh out loud at my self he released his arms from his hips and gave me a hug.

''that's true baby but you do need to let some body know when some one is messing with you.''

my dad told me getting serious again

''yes sir I will'' I told my dad giving him another hug and getting off the big chair standing up to get out of the room I herd the bell ring.

''ok well don't forget that Grandpa Rick is coming in the afternoon to pick you guys up from school. because your mother and I are leaving early so I will not see you guys until Monday morning.''

my dad explained to me

''ok daddy'' I told him as we walked out of the nurses office and back to the main doors of the school.

''also do not act up with your grandparents because we gave them permission to discipline you guys if you misbehave.''

my dad told me and I gave him another hug before he left the school

''ok daddy have a good weekend with mommy '' I told my father and turned around to walk into the cafeteria and get something to eat.
