Chapter Eighteen

I saw Wordy leaving to go to the car for something and I thought it was strange that my niece did not come down from her alone time or nap time. sometimes she needs her alone time to collect her thoughts and then she will be good. spike thought to himself as he got up from the couch

''hey Veronica I am going to check on my niece see what she is doing if she up already.'' Spike told Veronica

''yea she should be up from nap now'' Veronica replied back to me as I made my way up to Alice room

stopping at her door Spike knocked on the door but did not get a replay ''ok I am coming in so you have be decent.'' I yelled out and walked into Alice room

''hey you didn't hear me calling?'' I asked Alice who was burring her head in her pillows and had the blankets covering her

''am not going down there with her Spike'' Alice replied to me but her voice was muffled because she was talking into the pillows.

''and who is this her that you don't want to see?'' I asked Alice because I had no idea what she was talking about.

''this stupid bitch named Rachel that stupid John is talking out tonight dad said he wanted to meet her before he takes her out and I don't want to be down stair when she comes so I am going to stay up here forever or until she comes and leaves.'' Alice told me all in one breath I had to chuckle because she was being such a drama queen and I did not now why she was saying those things but he pouting face was to cute right now. moving closer to her I sat at the edge of the bed and she moved to the opposite end of the bed so I would have more room to sit. I rubbed circle on her back for a couple of minutes she laid there in silence while I rubbed her back until she got up and sat up on her bed and looked over at me.

''are you good now my big baby?'' I asked her while I took off my shoes and moved over closer to her on the bed.

''I am not big baby'' Alice replied to me with a scowl look on her face

''yes you are but its ok because you are my big baby.'' I told her as she started to laugh and smile at the thought.

''so why don't you like this Rachel person that john wants to take out tonight?'' I asked her again she waited a while before she replied

''because she mean she makes fun of me for no reason and I never did anything to her hell I don't even know.'' Alice told me

''ow I see'' I told her while she was snuggling next to me

''yea and plus I don't want to say anything to John or dad because then John is going to think that I don't want him to date her because daddy said I cant date until I get married so he wont believe anything I have to say about her.'' Alice replied into my chest I had to wait awhile to respond to her because I did not yet know what to say.''

''hum that is a tuff one but if she does keep bothering you tell your parents or some one else you trust you cant have that over your shoulder while you are at school speaking of I herd that some boy had there arm around you this morning care to tell me what that was all about.'' I asked Alice

''what wait how did you know about that?'' Alice asked me in shock

''because I know everything plus your dad told me he saw it when he dropped you guys off this morning.'' I told Alice

''uncle spike relax he is not my boy friend I don't really know him like that he is new to the school and he stood up for me when Rachel was being a bitch he also has most of the same classes as me he just put his arm around me and was like high best friend and plus John liked jumped down his thought for that and he embarrassed me in front of every one then I had to go to the nurses office because I felt like I was going to have a fit so I just started crying and then to top it all off I have a new therapist that I met today and he wants to start sessions on Monday. he did not even give me a chance to think it over either.'' Alice told me all in one breath

''well baby if he gave you a chance to think you would have said no'' I told Alice knowing her full well that is what she would have said and done.

''yea I guess you are right Spike.'' Alice replied

''I know I am right baby'' I told her and we both laughed about it

''I guess that is why you were in need of a nap everything that happened today'' I told her as she started to yawn and stretch out her arms and legs in the bed just then we herd a knock on the door and herd Wordy voice telling us he was coming in.

coming back into the house after I gave my wife the bag she was looking for I was going to go upstairs and deal with my daughter. but as I was going up the stairs I over herd some of the conversation that Alice was having with Spike and I cooled down a bit but I still needed her to eat a little bit more then what she ate this morning if not her behind was not going to like it.

''I am coming in'' I told them both of them after I knocked on the door and walked into my daughters room. looking around I see both Spike and Alice sitting up on the bed

''hi daddy'' Alice told me as Spike sat up and put his boots back on ''ok be good my sweet girl'' Spike told my daughter and gave her a kiss on the forehead and left the room closing the door behind him.

''hey little girl you lied to me'' I told my Daughter putting down the bag that had the turkey wrap and half a bag of chips on her bed.

''ow but I am not hungry daddy.'' Alice told me but in that moment her stomach chose to betray her and started making noise.

''what did I tell you about lieing to me'' I replied to Alice with a sharp tone that made her jump a little and look up ate me. I don't know why my daughter has to make everything so dam difficult some times.

''daddy'' Alice kept whining

''stop whinny you know I don't like that no start eating your turkey wrap or you will find your self over my knee and you will still be eating the turkey wrap only your bottom will be sore.'' I threaten my daughter which she knew I would go through with it if I had to I did not want to spank any of my children but I would do it if I needed to.

''ok ok'' she replied back to me talking the bag and opening the turkey wrap and eating small bite really small bite finally after ten minutes or so she was done and handed me the empty wrapper

''fine are you happy now.'' she replied back to me a little to sassy for my liking

''lose the Attitude and ill be happy.'' I told her

''daddy can you stay with me for a while I don't want to be down stairs when she comes and I don't want to talk about it right now either.'' my daughter told me while she motioned for me to come and sit with her. moving closer to her I brought her into my chest

''you know you cant run away from your problems all the time'' I explained to my daughter

''yes I can daddy just watch me'' Alice told me as we sat there for a while before I herd John yell out in the hallway ''DAD WERE HOME'' John yelled out

''ok well I am going dwon to meet her and when they both leave you are to come down stairs with the rest of us am I understood.'' I told Alice

''yes sir I understand'' she replied to me getting up from her bed and going into the bathroom that is shared between all the kids.

''god help me wit these kids'' Wordy thought to himself as he made his way down stairs to his son and the girl he wanted to take out on a date and the girl that Alice dose not like for some reason he has yet to know.
