Chapter Fifty One

getting into the cafeteria I went and got my self a bagel with cream cheese and a cup of fruit and some orange juice.

''I was hungry for some reason'' Alice thought to herself as she grabbed her food and sat down at a table. there was not a lot of people in the cafeteria yet because it was super early and then once the late bell rang then every one and there mother came walking through the door.

''hey Alice back from your prison sentences'' I turn around to hear Thomas talking to me as he sat down with his tray of food.

''I don't know how guys could eat so much food'' Alice though to herself as she took a bite of her bagel with cream chesses and took a sip of the Orange Juice.

''so are you going on a hunger strike because of your sentences like that is all you are eating?'' Thomas asked me getting all serious.

''I am good with what I have hear thank you very much.'' I replied back to him and just then Rachel came in with her crew and just gave me a nasty look and turned to sit down at her table. then my brother came in after her and walked towards the both of us and sat down next to Thomas

''that is all your eating bug'' my brother asked me looking more concerned then angry kind of like daddy when he has had enough of talking to me.

''what its enough I am not like a cave man how you guys eat.'' I told both my brother and Thomas who both looked at me and said ''hey''. getting up to line up because the bell rang for first period I put my stuff in my bag I had not finished the other half and did not finish the half of the one I was eating before.

walking by my first period class which I did not like the teacher and I know she does not like me I saw that my brother was still standing next to me.

''umm why are you still here?'' I asked my brother

''just want to make sure that you go into the class and stay there also make sure you finish eating that bagel. also make sure you eat lunch and get some food in your body because you know Grandpa is watching us this weekend and I think he does not know about your food issue bug.''

my brother explained to me and I just nodded my head ok and walked into class and took a seat in the back of the class.

class after class was the same thing I was starting to doze off in my last class of the day I was hungry and tired two things that did not go together at all.

''Alice wake up we have to go home now.'' I hear some one tell me and I look up and see my brother looking down at me.

''shit I thought I just dozed off for a few '' I look around there is no one but me my brother and the teacher standing looking at the both of us. I gather my self together and grab the packet of home work that I got from etch of my teacher and walked out of the door.

grabbing my book bag I gave the last packet of home work to my brother and he put it in my back pack and we waited for Grandpa Rick to pull up to the school. ''why are you being like dad right now?'' I asked John as we saw Grandpa Rick pull up and walked to dads truck.

''because some one has to look out for you when dad cant do it any more or when he is not close by.'' was all he told me as he got into the passenger side of the truck and I got in the back with Stacy.

''this was going to be a long weekend '' Rick thought to himself as he sat in the kitchen and seen how his son and Grandson interact with his Granddaughter Alice.

she talks with her eyes I know that my son told me that she is not good with sudden changes in her life. I guess me showing up would be a change in her idea but I still wanted to show my son that I could take care of his children for the weekend at least so him and his women could have some alone time.
