Chapter Forty Two

waking up I was on uncle Greg couch but he was no where in site and then I got up and looked around and I saw that his was in the kitchen.

walking into the kitchen I saw uncle Greg drinking a cup of coffee he seemed to be in deep thought sitting down I don't think that he saw me coming in.

''uncle Greg I need water to take my pill right now '' I told my uncle to get him out of his deep thought that he was in.

''sure baby '' uncle Greg told me and got up and gave me a glass of water taking the glass of water and I drank the water with my pill. putting the glass down on the counter and gave uncle Greg a big hug and looked up at him.

''I love you uncle Greg.'' I told him he gives the best hugs just like my daddy

''I love you uncle Greg'' I hear Alice tell me while she gives me a big hug and looks up at me she is still so hopefully for a better day a head it broke my heart sometimes.

''honey go get dressed because we need to get going to go to the dinner to get something to eat. and then we have to go to the barn to meet up with your Father because we have to talk to team three they are the ones that are going to taking over your case''

I told Alice and I see her mood change dramatically change she was starting to withdraw and I needed for that not to happen right now. I need her in good spirits for today it was going to be a long day today.

grabbing her by the arm I spin her around and gave he big bear hug walked out of the kitchen with her attached to my hip. walking back to the couch I passed her the book bag and told her to get dressed and come out so we can go to the dinner.

when Alice came out of the bathroom I had her book bag in my hand and my work duffel bag and started to walk out of the house her right besides me. getting in the truck we made our way to the dinner.

once inside the dinner i ordered our food and the waiter came and put our breakfast down on the table Alice still had not said a word. we ate our breakfast in silence and I paid for the food and we left headed to the barn where we saw Wordy standing out side of the building waiting for us.

waiting outside the building for my Daughter and Greg to pull up I had no idea what state Alice would be In. I did not like going into a situation blind not knowing what Is going to happen. I mean don't get me wrong being a part of the SRU we are trained to handle and situation that comes our way but some times you can plan nd plan and things don't go the right way.

when it comes to my Daughter I don't like to be in the dark about her and when I found out that she got into a fist fight with a girl that had been bulling her since day one. then to find out that was the same girl that my son John was going out with for a wile I was beyond shocked and angry. being her father I wanted to protect her from all harms of the world around her.

even though I know that is impossible at least I can teach her to cope in this crazy world but I was still pissed that she did not tell me what was going on.

Wordy thought to himself as he waited for Greg to pull up to the curb and his Daughter jumped out of the car and ran towards me.

''daddy'' I hear Alice tell me as she runs up to me and gives me a big hug all my anger at the situation just melted away. I hugged her back and looked down at my little girl I was going to help my Daughter no matter what It took.

''ow honey we need to go inside and talk to a few people about what happened with your medication and every thing that happened to you last weekend.''

I told my Daughter and watched her mood change from one minute to the next minute. yea this was going to be harder then I thought.

''no Daddy i don't want to talk about what happed last weekend uncle Greg tell him i don't want to.'' ''

I hear my Daughter tell the Sargent and he just gave her one of his no non sense looks and told her that she had to be a big girl and do what she had to do and that i would be with her every step of the way.

''i don't want to be ok''

my Alice whined to me knowing how much that drives me crazy and we started to walk into the building and into the elevator up to our floor Alice attached to my hip all three of us walked into the conference room where she has never been to and meet all of team three.

It was going to be a long day i thought to my self as me Greg and Alice walked into the room. Alice sat down between the both of us she was putting her whole body close to mine i guess seeing if she could disappear.
