Chapter Seventy Four

waking up in my parents bedroom I looked around and saw that no one was in the bed with me. last night Dad got a call last night about something so he left with Uncle Greg and the rest of the team.

getting out of the bed I looked at the alarm clock and I saw the time was twelve thirty so I jumped up and walked out of my parents bedroom.

heading to the kitchen I walked into the living room and saw a whole bunch of people that I did not know.

''Uncle Greg'' I yelled out and ran to him giving him a big hug I squeezed his stomach and looked up at him.

''Uncle Greg what is going on where is Daddy ?'' I asked Uncle Greg with tears forming in my eyes I was nervous and he knew that.

''hey sweets calm down your Daddy is in the backyard we will explain everything when he gets back from talking with your Mother and Grandpa come sit down.''

Uncle Greg told me as he led me to the couch and sat me down

''but I am hungry'' I whined to him and he gave me the same look that Dad and Mom give me because they don't like it when we whine.

''don't start with the whining non sense little girl your dad will get something for you to eat ok.''

Uncle Greg told me in that tone that uses with me sometimes when he wants to get his point across to me.

''ok ok fine ill sit down.'' I told Uncle Greg because I did not want to bother with him any more he did not look like he was in the mood.

a short while later Dad came in from the back yard with Mom and Grandpa along with these two big Men in Black looking people.

''Daddy'' I yelled out jumping up from the couch and running towards him his face looked like it showed worry.

''hey baby sit back down we need to talk about a few things but first you need to eat something.''

my Dad told me but I was not really hungry I just said that I was

''but I am not hungry Daddy''

I told my Dad and he gave me a look and Uncle Greg came towards me real quick it took me by surprise.

''I thought you told me that you where hungry don't start this with us this afternoon young lady there is to much going on right now. so you are going to sit back down on the couch and you will eat what is on your plate and then we will all talk about a few things.''

Uncle Greg told me and I jumped into my Fathers lap and buried my face on his chest I did not know what was going on but I did not like it not one bit.

my mom brought a plate with scrabbled eggs two strips of bacon and a hand full of strawberries.

picking up the fork I began to eat my food and not look at anybody else I was not happy right now if truth be told I was a little scared but I ate the food anyway because I did not want to make Uncle Greg any more mad then he was.

''ok I am done Uncle Greg '' I told Uncle Greg giving him the plate which he sat down on the little end table that Mom has in the living room.

''now that you have been fed little girl you are going to sit there and listen to what we have to tell you.

Uncle Greg told me giving me that famous look of his

''fine'' I huffed still sitting on my Dads lap

''well you know there is somebody who has eyes on you in an unhealthy way but now it has come to our attention that its a bit more complicated then we first thought. the suspect has threaten your life so you will be put in protective custody.

''WHAT NOOO IS THAT WHY THE MEN IN BLACK HERE.''

I yelled out at Uncle Greg and jumped off my Dad and ran towards the backyard hearing foot steps behind me.

I left my Daughter sleeping in I knew it was going to be a long day for her my wife went and gave her the medication. via her shot because she has already missed morning pill and now lunch time medication.

walking into the back yard I found my Father there with two big men walking over to the three of them.

''hey son this is Steven and Robert they ex Canadian Special Forces old friends of mine I cleared it with your boss and the leader of Team Four.''

my Father told me and I stopped him from talking any more

''wait cleared for what ?'' I asked my Father I was confused

''I talked to your boss and the leader of Team Four and we decided that it would be good for everyone involved of Alice was out of the picture for a short while.''

my Dad told me and I was thinking about what he told me for a long while my mid was going in a hundred different direction.

'' what do you mean you talked to Greg about what?''

I asked my Dad

''about keeping her safe and in protective coisdy she will be with meat the cabin until we are all able to get to the bottom of whatever the hell is going on.''

my Dad explained to me so we all walked back into the house where it seemed like Greg was having a few words with Alice.

looking like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders I did not even notice when Alice ran towards me.

''hey baby sit back down we need to talk about a few things but first you need to eat something.''

I Told Alice who told me she was not really hungry she just said it to say it then Sargent Parker came at her real quickly so she took the plate of food that her Mom gave her and ate in silence.

she did not look at any body the whole time she was eating she looked like she was is a daze.

when she was done she told Greg she was done and she passed him the plate that he put on the little side table.

''now that you are fed little girl you are going to sit here and listen to what we have to tell you''

Greg told Alice and I herd her make a huff sound saying ''Fine'' normally that would have earned her a swift smack on her thighs but right now we had more important thing to discuss.

''well you know there is someone who has there eye on you in an unhealthy way but it has come to our attention that it is more complicated that we first thought. the suspect has threaten your life so you will be put you in protective cousdy. ''

Greg told her and she flipped out like I knew that she would and started to yell out to her Uncle which she knows is a big no no and would earn her a trip over his knees.

''WHAT NO IS THAT WHY THE MEN IN BLACK ARE HERE.''

Alice yelled out jumping off my lap and running towards the backyard getting up from the couch I turned towards the others in the room.

''sorry guys I will go and deal with her and then bring her back to finish this conversation beside I don't know where she thinks she is going to go because that whole back yard is fenced in.''

I told the rest of them as I walked towards the backyard

I will do whatever I need to do to protect my children all of them and if Alice needs to go away for a while in order for her to be safe I will do it. but right now I need to deal with my Daughter and her misbehavior.

Wordy thought to him self as he locked eyes with his Daughter from across the backyard.
