I wake up the next morning with Blair's hand over my stomach, her other hand under her head. I take a moment to take in her beauty. Her hair was slightly messed up, there was a bit of drool coming out of her mouth and quiet snores could be heard coming from the girl who seemed smaller when she was asleep.

My heart melted at the sight and I found myself hoping that there were more days where I could wake up to this.

Maybe I'm still half asleep though.

I get up, ignoring the pain I felt in my head and legs. I go over to my drawers and I pull out a pink skirt with 2 white stripes on the bottom. Then I go over to my closet to pull out a white sweatshirt from my hangers.

I go into the bathroom, putting the clothes on and taking off my nightclothes and putting them in the basket of dirty clothes. I walk back into my room to see Blair waking up.

"Morning." I say in a soft voice, giving her a smile.

She starts groaning, "why are you up so early?"

"Figured we should go to school today anyway."

"Are you crazy?"

"Nope, but missing school isn't really my thing." I say, sitting down on the edge of my bed.

She bites her lip and I really, really wish she'd stop doing that. "I really don't think it's a good idea for us to go today."

"C'mon Blair, please." I plead, trying my best to get her to give in.

"Fine." She rolls her eyes as she sits up, running her fingers through her hair. A quiet sigh is heard from the girl.

"You can wear whatever you manage to find in my closet." I offer, standing up and smoothing out my skirt.

Her eyebrow raises, "You really think I'd wear anything in your closet?" She questions, smirking and staring me down.

"I-I mean-" I stutter out, getting flustered and embarrassed.

"I'm just kidding, Blithe. I don't think anything in your closet would fit me anyway, I'm just a tad taller than you. Plus our styles don't exactly match up."

"R-Right. I'm gonna go make breakfast." I blurt out, rushing out of the room with a red face.

"Get it together..." I say to myself, getting out some pancake mix, starting to cook some breakfast.

I glance over my shoulder to see her starting back at me.

"Loving the skirt." She comments when I turn around so I glance over my shoulder again and she winks at me. My face goes hot as I look away. What is she doing to me...

I finish cooking the pancakes and I put 2 on both plates. We eat together but in silence and when we're both done, she grabs her and my plates, putting them in the sink.

"Are you sure you wanna go today?"

I keep my eyes on my hands, "yeah."

I hear her keys being picked up as we both get up. I get in her car, her getting in the other side.

She sits in the driver's seat for a moment, checking her phone. I see her eyes glisten with unshed tears as she shuts off her phone again.

I want to ask her what's wrong but I feel as if it's not my place. She wipes her eyes quickly, as if she was trying to make it not noticeable that she was having a weak moment and starts the car, quickly pulling out of the driveway.

The drive to school was so quiet, the radio that's usually playing when I'm in her car isn't even on.

We get to school and she rushes out of the car, separating from me.
