"Blair.." I say, feeling sad for Blair. I saw how bad things were when she left but I knew her mother meant something to her.
She simply shakes head at me and turns to Jackson, "you'll give her a ride home, yeah?"
He nods and as soon as she starts to walk out, I grab her hand causing her to look at me. "I'll see you tonight, doll." She mumbles, giving me a gentle kiss before rushing out.
"So do you want me to take you home now?" I hear Jackson ask from behind me.
"Uhh... I don't know. I don't really wanna go home right now." I say silently.
"Do you wanna punch the punching bag some more?"
I nod, walking over to the punching bag and giving it a couple of strong punches.
After about 10 minutes, Jackson speaks up, "so how about some ice cream?"
The mention of ice cream makes me light up, "yeah!"
We get into his car and he drives to the ice cream place closest to the gym.
We walk in, the cold temperature immediately welcoming us.
"Hi! What can I get you guys!" The girl at the front says to us.
"I'll get a caramel scoop and Daisy will get a bubblegum scoop." He requests and the fact that he knows my favourite ice cream takes me by surprise.
We get our ice cream and we sit at a booth.
"So, how'd you know my favourite ice cream." I say in curiosity.
"Blair talks about you a lot. About how you always smell like bubblegum and how you always get bubblegum ice cream. She thinks it's really adorable." He confesses and I smile.
"I was starting to get worried that I didn't mean so much to Blair. It took so long to get close to her and for her to let me in." I say, looking down at my ice cream.
"I get how that feels. I'm dating someone and they didn't realise they liked me until I asked them out and I can't help but to get scared. I love Dan but what if they don't really love me back? But I honestly can't see her leaving you Daisy, she adores you and loves you so much." He says and I blush.
"She also talks about how much you love going to the movie theatre and how she didn't know why but how it was still really adorable." He adds on.
"My dad used to take me every weekend. He never failed to bring me and we'd watch repeats if nothing new was out but we always went to the movies. The staff at the theatre knew us so well, they taught me how to use the machines and offered a job for me for when I was old enough but my dad left and I stopped going and then we moved towns over an incident." I say, stopping to wipe some tears, "going to the movies with Blair, it made me feel like he was still there, you know? Like he didn't leave me behind." I finish.
Jackson doesn't say anything for a moment, he just moves so he can pull me in for an embrace.
"Can we go home now?" I say, suddenly feeling extremely sad.
He nods, understanding and grabs his stuff. We walk outside and I realise it's around 10 pm.
He drives me home and I give him a quick hug, thanking him for the afternoon. I walk inside my house and into my room and I hear soft crying.
"Blair?" I say and Blair looks at me with extreme red eyes from crying. I quickly drop my bag and take off my shoes so I can get on my bed with her.
I pull her into my chest, kissing her forehead and holding her tightly. "What happened, love?" I ask, running my fingers through her soft hair.
"She doesn't remember me." She chokes out and I automatically tighten my grip on her.
