I woke up to Blair not being beside me as I yawn and stretch my body out. I get up, quickly grabbing a button down floral shirt and a pink skirt to go with it.
Blair comes out of the bathroom wearing a dark red t-shirt and if I wasn't mistaken, one of my black skirts.
"Morning, doll." Blair says while giving me a small smile.
I respond by giving her a kiss on the cheek and disappearing into the bathroom she just came from.
I put on the clothes, tucking in my button up and I quickly throw my hair up. Clothes were annoying to put on with this bulky splint but I was getting used to it and it just felt normal by now.
I walk out, Blair grabbing her keys and my hand and we head outside.
We get into her car and she starts it but turns to look at me, "are you sure you wanna go to today?" She says.
My mind immediately thought back to yesterday and what Addi might to do me today.
"Yeah.." I speak up, unsure.
We barely talk on our way to school but the radio stops it from being an awful silence.
A few minutes later, we're at school. Blair parks and we both get out and I see Blair smoothing out her skirt.
I smile softly, skirts looked really good on her.
I see Blair go to grab my hand but takes it back when she realises we're at school. I feel a pang of guilt when I realise how much I'm probably putting Blair through.
Maybe soon I'd be ready. I hope.
The whole time we were walking to my locker, our hands were so close to touching. It look so much for me to not grab hers but this was a small school and gay people just were not accepted here.
"I'll see you after school ba-" She says but stopping herself. I give her a look of confusion before seeing what she was looking at, Lily.
Blair sighs, her distaste for Lily being quite obvious. I feel bad again but it's as if all worries are washed away when she shoots me a small smile and walks away."Hey, Daisy..." Lily says, trailing off.
I give her a small, closed mouth smile. I wasn't a huge fan of her right now for ruining my moment with my girlfriend. Plus I wasn't quite over how she handled stuff yesterday.
"I'm sorry for yesterday. I know I probably made things worse with the yelling and I am really sorry." Her apology sounded sincere enough.
"It's fine." I say softly, the bell for class rings.
Despite the fact that I had math first, I was happy. I was excited to see Blair again during the second lesson.
As much as I disliked English, it was my favourite class because it's the one I have with Blair.
First lesson is over and I walk to my locker, seeing Blair out of the corner of my eye, staring at me. I open my locker, immediately being surrounded by the scent of roses as I look a the dozen roses in front of me.
A huge smile is plastered on my face as I look at Blair, making my way over to her and dragging her into an abandoned, unused closet which used to be the Janitor's closet until they got a bigger one.
I quickly peck her lips, "thank you."
She smiles at me too, her hands on my waist. "Anything for you, doll." I hear her whisper before her lips are on mine. I feel a fire start in my body as I kiss her back with more passion. I wanted to thank her and this was how I knew how to.
