For the next few days, Blair doesn't bother show up to school. I knew I probably should've been worried about where she was staying and what not but I didn't want to think about her because every time I did, I would tear up.
Lily kept trying to talk to me but I'd barely respond sometimes. I knew she was getting over how I was acting but I couldn't help it.
It was around Thursday when she actually showed up and all I wanted to do was try and ignore her existence but that was had when she was watching my every move.
It was Saturday evening and I was in my pyjamas watching Netflix in the living room with a bowl of microwavable popcorn. Things had chilled down with my mum and I which was relieving, we never could stay mad at each other for long.
I hear a knock on the door so I pause my show and place my popcorn onto the couch cushion beside me.
I get up, brushing my fuzzy pink pyjamas down and I walk to the front door, answering it.
My heart drops at who it is.
There Blair is, standing at my door with a bouquet of flowers and a slight reassuring smile.
"Before you yell at me, I wanna take you on a proper date and I wanna tell you why I did what I did..." She blurts out, looking dead serious.
"Blair... I'll need to get ready..." I trail off, biting my lip, "and it's like 6 pm." I add.
"Stay in your pyjamas and I know, that's the point."
I bite my lip again, unsure of what to do.
"Look, you really don't have to say yes but I really wanna do this."
"But you're so dressed up and I'm not..." Which was true, she was extremely dressed up. She was wearing a black bralette with lace on the bottom with some high-waisted black denim shorts with fishnet stockings underneath, all topped off with a black, oversized denim jacket.
Her makeup was done up too with a brown smokey eye and a soft red lip so compared to her, I look horrible. I legit had on a pink fluffy onesie with a bunny on the stomach and a hood with bunny ears, my hair was in two french braids and I only had mascara on.
"It's okay, you look warm so stay in your PJs."
I sigh, "okay, let me put the flowers away." I say, taking them and walking into the kitchen, grabbing a random vase and putting the flowers in there.
Sunflowers and roses, nice choice Blair.
I grab my one clutch but I hear Blair stopping me, "you won't need that." I put it back against the wall, just for her to pick me up.
"So... where are we going?" I say as she puts me in the car.
"That's a surprise." She says, smiling softly as she drives.
It's about 35 minutes later when we come to complete stop. I perk up, looking around but only seeing grass and trees.
"Are you gonna murder me now?" I say, smiling at her.
"You caught me!"
I giggle as she helps me out and I see a pink blanket on the ground with fairy lights surrounding it. There was McDonalds on the blanket.
Blair let me down and she sat right next to me, "Blair..." I say softly.
"Yeah?" She hesitates.
"This... This is beautiful." I say, choking up a little. I cup her face and push my lips on hers.
I pull away, smiling. God, I missed this so much.
"Okay, I need to explain myself." Blair starts and I look at her.
