"What do ya wanna know?" She asks, kicking her icecream.

"Anything and everything." I smile slightly. She was so cute.

"There's not much to tell..." She says, her bright eyes avoiding mine.

"Hey, you're pretty interesting." I say, leaning across the table so i can put one finger under her chin, making her look at me.

"W-Well," She starts to stutter as I bite my lip. I love the effect I had on her.

"My... my favourite colour is pink and..." she finally manages to say, and I smirk.

"Am I making you nervous?" I whisper.

"Can I ask you something?" She says, her voice low. I'm kinda taken back, but I nod anyway.

"You said you broke your phone but.. you were texting someone earlier..." She trails off, and I'm surprised she's asking.

"I know and it's true, I did break my phone but that one is an emergency phone for my best friend Ty. It only has his number in it and I've had it for years." I say, thinking about when he first gave me the phone. He was taking a lot of heat for things and it really hit me that something horrible could happen to him.

"Oh." She mutters, and I get lost in my mind for a split second, hating that I started thinking about that again.

I clear my throat slightly, "do you wanna go home now? Your mum's gonna be home soon." I whisper, not fully there.

"No... just a little bit longer." She tells me.

"Okay, well, what do you wanna do now?"

"Uhhh... We could go to the arcade? It's by the cinema." She suggests, and that pulls me back to reality.

"But I'm paying for this. You've already payed too much." She says, demandingly. I've never seen her be demanding, I kinda liked it.

"But-"

"No buts. I pay." She says, cutting me off. I was shocked at how her tone was, but I let it go as we walked to the arcade, hand in hand.

"I have a spare drawer for your clothes by the way." She tells me, and I can feel her rubbing circles on my hand.

"Do you think you can put them in? I have to do something tonight." I ask her, hoping she wouldn't pry into what I have to do.

"Yeah, that's fine." She says, but her tone is off.

We spend about 50 dollars at the arcade and about an hour later, we have enough tickets to get the huge teddy bear that she's had her eyes on since we walked in.

"Do you want the white one or the pink one?" I ask, my eyes staying on them. She doesn't give me an answer, and I smile slightly.

"Pink it is, dumb question." I say, handing the tickets to the lady who looks sick of her job.

I grab the huge bear, handing it to Daisy. We start to walk, and I hold back a laugh as I watch her fail to carry it.

Seconds later, she ends up falling. I start to laugh, she was so adorable.

"Do you need me to carry it?" I ask, picking up the bear and resting it on my hip.

"Yes, please." She says, and I just give her a smile as I wrap my free arm around her shoulder.

We walk to the parking lot together, and I'm actually happy that I was able to spend time with her today. I finally had a friend.

We put the bear in the back and get in the car. We start talking, and I really take in how lucky I was to know someone like her.
