Emma's P.O.V

RPG! RPG! RPG!

FIRE!

FIRE! 

FIRE!

Crap!

GO! GO! GO!

I ran faster looking around for any potential criminals. And then suddenly,

BOOOOOOM!

Damn it! Who the hell just shot me!

I stared to see a 'GAME OVER' blinking on the screen in bright red letters.

Oh man! I should have turned around faster. Stupid me. I sighed and face palmed myself.

I was playing counter strike. You might know the game if you are a gamer. It was one of those games that I used to love and was really good at during my younger days. I switched off my home PC in disappointment. 

I took my phone and dialed Eli's number.

"Hey Eli, I'll be late for work today. Can you cover up for me? Please?", I pleaded and whined into the phone trying my best to convince her.

"NO! NO! NO! NO!-

"I promise that I'll buy you 2 mint chocolate chip ice creams", I told her quickly, interrupting her continuous series of NOs.

"NO! NO! N- Wait! Did I just hear the word two? I mean TWO?", I could literally hear the excitement in her voice.

I'm pretty sure that she was drooling with a dreamy look in her eyes right now. I can bet you a thousand bucks on that!

"YePP, you heard that right love", I told her with a grin as I popped out the 'p' part in exaggeration.

"Fine", I heard her mumble.

"That's my girl. I love you babe!", I told her and then quickly hung up before she changed her mind.

I stretched my limbs and then yawned lazily.

It's time to take a warm and refreshing bath!

I re-checked to see whether the address that I just arrived to was right. Since this area was a remote one, only a few apartments were visible. I looked around to see whether there was anyone around and that is when I caught sight of a curtain being pulled shut in another house.

Seems like I'm being watched.

The whole place gave off an eerie vibe. It was kind of creepy. Something told me that the people here were inter-connected and that they were hiding something when the IAE interviewed them. That is why I came prepared. You want to know how?

I walked as my high heels clicked on the gravel road with my slim and slender legs exposed. I was wearing a mini navy blue short and a white transparent blouse. Basically, anyone could see the black bra that I was wearing underneath. 

What? I had to give them the expression that I was involved with Tyler.

I sexy walked to the door of Tyler's house and rang the bell. Just like I expected no one opened. I could hear no sound from inside either. I knocked on the door to find it ajar. The door creaked as I pushed it open. The whole house was engulfed in complete darkness. The curtains were pulled shut, blocking the sunlight from peeping into the living room.

"Hello?", I called out aloud only to receive an empty response in return.

I looked over my shoulder to see that the coast was clear. I quickly stepped inside and locked the door behind me. I did an overall search for cameras and humans first, but fortunately came up with nothing. I then started searching for any clues on Tyler's whereabouts but I unfortunately came up with nothing for that too.
