~~~~~7 MONTHS LATER~~~~~
Emma's P.O.V
I bit and gritted my straw in frustration as I glared at the couple before me.
"There's no use renting out your jealousy now", Alisa stated in a teasing tone.
"I pity that poor straw", Scar replied over dramatically.
I snapped my head and glared at them making all four burst in to laughter. A small smile graced my lips as I watched them laugh merrily.
They were my best friends and after all my only family.
I know that we couldn't meet up much during the case but that was because I managed to make up excuses cancelling their plans. And one day I got caught red handed crying inside Alissa's toilet, and yeah it took alot of pillow fight, chasing and bitch slapping each other to get the truth out of my mouth.
Once they got to know the whole story, they cried with me and once there were no more tears to shed, they started stuffing pillows on my face in anger. They were super duper mad at me for not letting them know and trust me, they can get really nasty when someone pisses them off.
A small shiver passed through me as images of that day flashed in my mind.
To this day, it was them who cheered me up and helped me in building my future. And it was them who never left my side. I love these idiots to bits. I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned them that.
I stared to see that they were still laughing and my lips tugged upwards in to an evil smirk.
"I love you all!", I whisper-screamed and gave each one of them a sloppy kiss on their cheek.
"Ewwwww", Alissa scrunched her face in disgust as she rubbed my drool off her face.
"Ass!"
"Pig!"
"Bitch!"
I clutched my belly and laughed out loud, earning glares from the rest. And that included the other diners too.
What? Don't blame me. Their expressions were definitely hilarious!
I doubled over in laughter as tears pricked my eyes. I can't take it anymore. My tummy hurts like hell.
Splash!
Cold ice water dripped down my face as I stood frozen for a second. It took a second for me to realize what had just happened.
I glared at the four who were now clutching their sides and laughing like hynas. I took hold of my half filled water glass as a smirk made up to my face. I was about to throw the water on Jesse's face when someone cleared their throat from behind.
I turned around to see that it was one of the waiters. He looked a bit nervous.
"Ma'am, we request you and your friends to keep your voices a bit low as you are disturbing the other diners around you", he said and shifted on his feet uneasily.
He seemed to be one of the newbies here.
I smiled at him reassuringly.
"Sure. I apologize for our ill behaviour", I told him with an apologetic smile.
A look of relief washed over his face and he beamed at me.
"Thank you ma'am", he said with a bow and left.
I turned around to watch the others stare at me with their mouths wide open.
"Did I just witness Emma apologize to someone?", Sky stared at me as if I've grown two heads.
