Emma's P.O.V

"Hey", I grinned at him.

He looked up from his phone and smirked.

"Finally, you decided to grace me with your presence", he told huskily against my forehead, kissing it afterwards.

I looked down at the table to hide my now tomato red cheeks.

"I love the way you blush", he then leaned forward and whispered in to my ear as his hot breath caressed my lobe.

"Idiot! Shut up!", I punched him on the arm and moved away to sit at the table.

Well, if you are wondering what's going on, let me re-wind the timeline for you.

The day that Cayden barged in to my house demanding me to go on a date with him, well, I kinda obliged because I knew he wouldn't let me go that easily.

So we agreed on a deal. I go on a date with him for three days and then if I still don't like him, he promised to let me go.

And guess what?

I fell for him and thought of giving it a try. I mean for how long was I trying to be a spinster right?

"What would you like to order sir?", I heard an overly high pitched girly voice say, laced with a tinge of lust.

I looked up to see a blonde batting her eyelashes flirtatiously at Cayden, completely ignoring me. Anger surged through me. I felt like grabbing her hair and smashing her head on the table continuously till she bleeds to death.

I quickly turned to watch Cayden's reaction.

Our eyes met.

His royal blue eyes bored into mine, scrutinizing me intently. We continued staring at each other when his lips slowly twitched upwards, forming a smirk.

"One mushroom Risotto and-", he looked at me, asking me silently to order.

"I would go with a lasagna", I told the waitress as my lips twitched into a smug smile.

She gave me a dirty look and jotted down the orders.

"Anything else sir?", she turned towards Cayden again, smiling like a baboon.

How dare she!

I glared daggers at her, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to silently harm that petty brain of hers.

"A melon salad with grappa granite", Cayden replied nonchalantly, not even sparing her a glance.

I couldn't help but let my face break into a full wide grin. For anyone who sees my overly happy and excited face, they would assume that I had just won a mega lottery.

"And an Italian trifle", I chirped smugly and leaned on my chair throwing her a 'you-deserved-it-bitch' look.

The waitress glared at me and then trotted away, swaying her hips a bit too naturally. I stifled a laugh and looked at Cayden to see him smiling at me.

"What?", I asked as heat crept up my neck and then to my cheeks.

Oh God! What's up with me and blushing alot today!

"Jealousy isn't good for health", he replied with a smirk.

"And?", I tried to act clueless and baffled.

"You were being jealous!", he replied in a duh tone, wiggling his eyebrows teasingly at me.

I gave him my famous blank look for a few seconds and then burst out laughing mockingly.
