Chapter 21: Hope for You.

Grillby's POV:

Everyone that I need to discuss the topic is here. Frisk, Papyrus, and Flowey are with (Y/N) upstairs in Frisk's room, so there is no concern for them to walk into the meeting.

"I thank you, everyone, for helping me look over the patient." I give my thanks to them appreciating for what they have done for me.

"Sure anytime pal," Sans response.

Everyone was waiting for me to speak I took a deep breath. "Toriel. Sans. Alphys. And Undyne." I announced their names. "All of you are aware that (Y/N) is a mental patient that run from a hospital?" They all nodded some are more saddened than one another they have already gotten attach to you when knowing they should not. "There has been news of that same patient that ran away about almost one and a half months ago that is missing. But even when I reported to the authorities they dismissed it saying that no such case happened and took no further action. The reporting that I have done was a month ago during (Y/N)'s stay with Sans and Toriel." That is when things took a strange turn here.

"Grillby this is not right! How could the police not take this seriously especially with something like (Y/N) is going through!" Undyne slams her fist onto the table enraged. "U-undyne! Please calm down!" Alphys holds her arm from breaking objects any further. "Alphys you know how much this pisses me off. I may not know a few hard laws, but I'm in the police department darn it!"

"I know Undyne, I feel the same also but there is a way to get this case to court so (Y/N) will not go back to that hospital." When I bring up this topic, Toriel speaks up shocked from what she has heard, "To court! Grillby you know very well that Monster and Humans relationship are still tense, even with the two living in harmony for two years there is still inequality when comes to thin.gs like that! And this- this is not our rights to intervene. (Y/N) is just someone that just came suddenly into our lives."

"I understand that Toriel, but we have plenty of evidence to win the case even if we are Monsters. I know that you know this is something you can't back down so easily. Alphys do you have the reports for (Y/N)'s health?"

"Y-yes! I also got the history records of the hospital they went to; it turns out that there have been a few reports about patients disappeared while attending there along with other patients were found to have a few massive injuries after their stay. But they happen to be stash hidden, so it took me some time to find them with the help of Undyne."

It seems that this will be something to tackle with we have eyewitnesses, the evidence and the victim to win, but then I'm not sure what will happen in the end. I also can not help but agree with Toriel that the patient (Y/N) is just someone that just pops up and yet against to my should-have-know-betters. I have fallen for this someone who is sick in mind and has a love for fire, a pyromaniac.

The meeting was over rather quickly which is just in time for me to check on the others that are with (Y/N). Gone upstairs I heard laughter it was from you, (Y/N) I could not help but smile and at the same time try not to get too attached to you. I will be you guide like a light in the dark, so you will not fall into the wrong path. That's all I can do, I thought for you will go away once you get the help needed and have a life of your own soon.That enough can make me happy.

Entering into Frisk's room all I can see was a mess of papers and drawing utensils scatter throughout the floor along with you rolling left to right struggle to maintain your composure. Papyrus's face was doodled all over with a lopsided mustache and glasses drawn on as he tries to speak to a high class. Flowey was the same but with a beard only was not pleased with this. Frisk was also laughing.

That is when my composure breaks; I laughed along with you enjoying to see you happy as I smile. Your laughter has put under control still, attempts to hold back some that are still seeping through you hand that covers your mouth. You looked up to see me towering over you, and you were surprised to see the new expression on my face. You were not bothered by this you also smiled back not knowing that still. I felt a feeling shot bulls-eye through my heart to see that. You are so childish at times, but that is just cute with your naive perspective. You stood up looking at the group with an awkward smile pointing at my face. They were surprised to expect for Flowey who is mumbling to himself about the drawings on his face.

"(Y/N) I'm leaving you here with Toriel and the others for a while. I will be back soon, so you better behave," I bid my farewell as you replied with a nod. And surprise a hug, I was in a daze by your action but recovered and give you a hug back giving you a squeeze of embrace.

This will be hard for me to let you go once you have to go I just hope that you will become someone great.
