Again he was hesitant to tell you the bad news of you going to a mental hospital again. He just could not bring himself to do so. The others kept pushing him that he must, he can handle you the most whenever you have gone rogue time to time.He is the one you trust the most, but the risk of breaking your heart drove him to a dead end. Trying to find the right time, but thought to himself. Time is running out. So are the options and the only option is the best at the same time not.
Still felt the resonating pain from the tackle hug, due to his wounds not fully healed. Remain composed despite it. He answered all your sprouting questions that grew over the course of when you two have last met, while everyone left your room in respect of privacy. It was until you asked him a certain question that puts all his composure and barriers to crumble.
"Grillby what happen at the backyard?"
The flaming inferno attempts to change to another topic. You picked it up right away, causes suspicion you wish to not have for him.
"Grillby, please no. Don't do this for to me. I'm not that dumb, just... please be the one honest with the truth for once." Your pled was uncalled for because of your confidence is high as a child even to bother ask or else act with summation.
Pinching the bridge of his nose breathing slowly unsure how to start this turns back to you saw your eyes are pleading, lead him to perform a bold move. He unbuttoned his coat first then one of his collar sleeves. Rolls the white fabric revealing a bandaged forearm.
Your eyes widen by the dressed wound as you roughly grab his arm towards you to examine more closely. Your eyes went back to him silently asking to undo the bandages, in which he repsonds bowing his head in defeat. Your hands were trembling removing the dressing to backen away in horror when your sight fell upon the black chars that is seen in your eyes like a disease that is surrouding by the rest of his flames. That blods and dotted through out.
Your vision becomes blurry making his face indistinguishable to see but the lights of his flames. Then your cheeks felt water that trailing down, causing you confusion as you reach your eyes to check while it was all too clear. You are crying and the reason why is that you harmed Grillby, your loved one. You continue to weep after you choke on a sob controlling your lumping vocal chord refusing to let all your emotions flood over so easily.
"(Y/N), I have bad news to tell you," he paused. What he say was something you would never expect him to say, "That you are going to a mental hospital to prove you are not the insane psychopath they claim you to be."
When you heard those words you felted betrayed, you were also blown back by how painful the feeling seemly tears in your chest that now aches. Breaking your limit rips out a shrieking wail from you as you fell to your knees distraught. Warmth welcomes your sorrow, feeling the embrace from Grillby who now whispers the comfort he has telling you it's not so bad, it's better than the old and at the same time apologizes repeatedly.
You heard footsteps arriving the room, but you don't care not giving a damn. You are broken, you thought then another came up saying feelings are painful, but they are worth it then the blank solitude with the fear from instincts. You hugged him back tighter then before not wanting to lose him as if he will disappear in an instant.
It took three hours for you to relieve from the break down you have worn out. You lay your head on his shoulder while sitting on the bed noticing the room looks more yellow than normal because of the ceiling light thanks to the night that has already fallen.
"It's going to take just three weeks. You will be fine, the hospital the court put you in is safer then your last one. I will be visiting you more often while you get a phone call from Toriel and the others. Think you can do that?"
Shifting uncomfortably to the question unsure how to respond this.
"(Y/N), just 3 weeks and it will all be over with."
You closed your eyes processing an answer to can to an conclusion.
"No problem."
"Are you sure," surprised by your calm response in which you nodded turning to him to prove you are legit honest. Still shaken although doesn't stop him from seeing your sleepiness when you yawned. He called it a day as he tucked you into bed. About to leave you asked him to stay with you a little longer making him sit back down beside you.
He raised a brow when you beckon him to move closer he leans in, you beckon more, he do so again. Once he is in your reach you cupped his face and pulled him in.
Now there is a flaming red man who gets redder by the moment when you give a peck on his forehead. Holding where the kiss is with his hand he was a flustered mess. You only chuckled on how funny he looks having little knowing he was embarrassed only worsen his blushing state even more now covering his entire face with his hand under his spectacles. You patted his shoulder before you doze off to sleep into the dark peacefully.
