The courtroom was silent as ever. With the tense atmosphere, it is hard to believe that a monster is on the winning side of a unique case. He earned the custody of the now discovered victim from a mass serial killer and kidnapper from a twisted doctor. Based on all the evidence that was against him by founded records of him quitting and moving hospital to hospital bringing harm changing his identity each time.

The doctor will be charged a hefty fine and be in prison for life. Using his career and power to do the terrible things the hospital failed to stop. Many who worked under him are either arrested for assisting the deeds of a criminal or under questioning. You learned Ms. Lauren is the same nurse you saw before your great escape and nothing more.

There are still issues about you and the prejudice to Grillby, but it became final as the case is closed. Making you free from this doctor and will be back safely with Grillby after your last week.

You want to hop around in joy learning this news over the phone. You're ecstatic, but the weight of sadness came looking back at Olly and Dawn. Who merely stared at you with no emotions. After the call ended, you gave the warm embrace to them telling them this is your time is almost over. And that soon you will have to say goodbye to them.

"Don't pity us we decide if we're miserable or not," Olly responded. Giving you a rare smile after all the days of having a sour face. She felted loved from knowing you care for their very well being. Dawn nods not making eye contact. His expression shows little to no content, unsatisfactory. He wishes to have the people and the happiness like you have.

There is no further exchange for the remaining days, but silence between you three. Until the last day, you're being picked up in the afternoon you simple said goodbye. But they told you to wait as they are getting grabbed by the workers. They both each handed you handcrafted paper flowers. Lily's is a yellow rose while Dawn is a white chrysanthemum, he explains, that looks like a daisy.

Touched by the farewells gifts you want to tear up wanting to give something in return but all you can do is attempt to provide the best compliment to show your appreciation. You shouted down the halls surprising everyone for them to hear before you exit.

"I'm so happy our existences met! I'm overjoyed; your existence brings me joy!"

This was not expected to hear from a person with a mental health condition saying this, but it can be taken as an improvement.

When you saw Grillby, you squeezed the oxygen out of him crying. He was overwhelmed by this sudden behavior worry was in his mind. You explained him the event that took place as you two walked towards the car in the parking lot. Holding the flowers so, so carefully as if they are brittle glass gems cradled in your palms. You presented the gifts to Grillby.

He only said he is proud of you wiping the tears away with his thumb. You don't understand why still sobbing for these two people who you know less than a week. He sees the compassion and kindness burning in you that you have never shown, to begin with thinking only for yourself.

You're a quick learner you're not as dumb. He didn't expect anything less from you. You were welcomed back by a party by everyone you know well. Confused for you do not understand this social event. It was not taught yet, but learning from everyone giving their input. You cried again now crouching feeling gravity pulling you down.

They were startled by your reaction. Toriel and Papyrus were next to you both sides with Toriel giving you a back rub and the skeleton pats on the head. Frisk was in front holding a tissue box they ran back to get drying the tears off your face.

Sans and Flowery awkwardly on the sideline seeing the otaku couple panicking. Grillby was the one who has to bring everything back to normal giving a summary about your new friends. You hiccuped repeatedly talking about how much you already miss them and want something like this to happen to them also.

You asked Toriel for answers about these paper flowers. She smiled at the motherly love, informs you they represent friendship. The white chrysanthemum also meant loyalty and honesty. She stated that these traits she sees in you and assumes that's what Dawn uses. Even so, you felt depressed for you do not think you have good characteristics, to begin with.

That departure from those amazing people you wish you would spend more time with them for that may be the last time to see them again. So many emotions flow through you. You are aware you're lucky, blessed to be in this caring you can call family.

You were able to cheer up enjoying your time with everyone. You turned to Grillby wanting to discuss with him something important after the party.

The memories of that happy moment time is just a blur. The reason that is because you learned the truth that everyone, especially Grillby was hiding from you.

"What is it (Y/N)?"
This was the first thing he asked when he arrived in your room to see a crossed legged human being that sat on the bed ushered the flame to take a seat patting the mattress.

He did your request. The way he sat. He looks tired, hunching forward with fingers laced together as the elbows rest on his knees. He always keeps his back straight. Something is wrong.

"Grillby?"

"Yes?"

"How are your wounds?"

He gave you a confused look. He may not have any bandages visible on him. But when you lightly apply pressure on his side, he hisses in pain. Recoiled from your touch creating a distance of space between the two of you. The feeling of regret starts to spark up in your heart. You received a glared from Grillby. This monster in front of you is not the same person you know. He is patient with you, and he gets angry, but he quickly regains a calm mood in his eyes. He's becoming defensive. He wasn't making eye contact with you. With head bowed down you know he is thinking for the right words to say to you. That will not bring harmful consequences.

Even so, you started to teared up overwhelming with guilt. You called out to Grillby with a cracked voice. He quickly turns to you. The look he gave you with is so mixed with emotions that are conflicting with one another. It was so hard to speak because of the lump forming in your throat from holding back the tears. You still force yourself to speak about a serious topic you are not pleased Grillby is hiding from you.

"G-grillby, why *hic* d-did you not tell me. T-that I hurt you."

His body stiffened he didn't say anything. He wanted to, but it's too late. You already knew, but he is also relieved at the same time. Emotions in him are having a tug-a-war with one another. So he turns his focus on you, pulling you onto his shoulder to cry on.
It only made you cry more to receive such patience and kindness from him. You begin to apologize for all your awful behavior and actions you have done.

'You're so damn lucky,' you thought to yourself. 'You so lucky to have someone or even anyone like him and the others who cares.'

You are certain you can love again, to feel alive and happiness from the pain. For you have people there for you. One is willing to sacrifice their own life for you.

You have become something, but you're not satisfied with that. It's not the final anyway.
