February 14th. It's not that you hated Valentine's day, but it was just so... over done? Too many people expressing love through the school hallway, kissing, hugging and giving each other gifts. It's usually cute to see someone give someone else a gift out of love, but it's way too generic to do it just because it's Valentine's day.

These thoughts swirled through your head as you entered the school gate, heading to your locker to dump your books. Arriving at your locker you are a little annoyed to find a sweet little red rose cellotaped to the front. They got the wrong locker you roll your eyes, opening our locker without moving the flower. You empty your bag of everything except your first classes supplies and shut the locker rather harshly.

"Hey ________!" Seung Hun, your best friend arrives next to you, ready for class as usual.

"Is that a rose? Is it for you?" She says, her voice becoming more excited as she speaks.

"No, it's on the wrong locker" You dismiss it, starting to walk away.

"Did you even ready the note?" Seung Hun asks, reaching for the paper attached.

"I didn't see any note" You reply, watching her read it.

"Aww it's cute ______!" She exclaims, holding it out to you.

'Dear ________, Happy Valentine's Day.

I don't know if you'd take me seriously if I told you face to face, since I know you hate the idea of Valentine's Day, but I like you.

You may or may not feel the same way, I wouldn't know since you're so hard to read.

From ... ah, a secret admirer.'

"Who do you think it is?" Seung Hun questions, linking arms with you and starting to walk to class.

"I have no clue" You admit. "I didn't even think it was for me".

Throughout the rest of the day you could not stop thinking about who it could be.

By last class you were annoyed and out of ideas, you just wanted to have left that rose on your locker and forgotten about it. No one had approached you to claim it was them, and you hadn't told anyone other than Seung Hun about it. You gave up. Placing the rose softly inside your lunchbox so that it isn't harmed you zip up your bag. The bell rings and you leave the class, deciding that since it was sunny, you would walk home instead of taking the bus. You glance at the bus and see your neighbour and bus buddy, and you run up to him.

"Jung Kook! Do you want to walk home instead of taking the bus?" You ask.

"Give me some reasons why I should" He teases me, smiling.

"If you don't, you know Hyerim's going to try to sit with you. Either that or you'll be a loner" You tell him and he nods.

"Okay, for you I'll walk" He says. You thank him, and both start walking home.

"Hey did you get anything today?" Jung Kook asks you and you glance at him.

"Just a flower. Why, did you?" You question, brushing off his question.

"None that I accepted" He states calmly.

"Why?"

"I have someone I like, and I don't think its loyal to accept Valentines when I like her" He explains.

"And Just a flower?" He adds, looking at you.

"Mm, A rose. It was on my locker this morning." You tell him, playing with your hands.

"Do you know who gave it to you yet?"

"No. Why, do you?" You look at him.

"Possibly" He smiles, turning and standing in front of you when you stopped.

"It was you wasn't it"

"Who else" He smiles, shrugging. You look at him for a moment, thinking it through while he casually watched you.

"But on the note you said you liked me"

"I do" Jung Kook takes a step forward, looking you in the eyes as he does.

"So stop playing hard to get" Jung Kook muses, cupping your cheek gently.
