You sat up, extremely tired but unable to sleep. There were no lights on as you stood up and left your room, walking into the kitchen and filling a glass with water. As you were pulling open the pantry door the lights switched on, making you look behind you.
"What's wrong?" V asked, walking over and rubbing his eyes. He must have heard you leave and followed.
"Do you feel sick?" He questioned, placing a hand on your forehead when he was close enough. You nodded your head, grabbing the Panadol from the pantry and shutting the door.
"I couldn't sleep because of it" You told him. After taking the pills you picked up your drink and took it back to your room, V following.
"We could stay up if you want" V offered, sitting on the bed and leaning on the headboard. You climbed next to him, lying with his arm around your shoulders protectively. You rested your head on his shoulder as he started rubbing circles on your stomach, knowing it would make you feel a little better. The two of you didn't talk, just sat there together with the lights still on. Slowly, you fell asleep, one of your hands resting to softly grip V's shirt. He smiled, thinking that you looked cute. He shifted you so that you were more comfortable, and switched off the light, laying with you again and falling asleep.
