"It's 3AM you know" You heard someone walk into the room from behind you. You were in one of the shared kitchens of the dorm building. "What are you doing?"
"Making cookies" You answered, spinning around with the bowl of batter in your hands. The boy walked over, his hair ruffled as if he had just got out of bed, which, given the time was probably the case. "Wanna help?"
You recognized the boy from around campus and remembered his dorm is close to yours, only a few doors down from your own. "So, what are you doing up at 3AM?" You asked, giving him something to mix after he washed his hands.
"My roommate is being a bit.. loud. You don't want to know the rest" He says, giving a disgusted face and you smile.
"You're welcome to crash on my dorms couch if you need. I'm ________ by the way" You finish folding in the last of the ingredients, and start placing blobs of dough on a baking tray.
"Donghyun. I might have to take you up on that if I want to stay awake during classes" He returned the smile, taking some dough to roll. After finishing the preparations, you slid the tray into the oven and sat at the table with Donghyun, waiting the 20 minuets it takes to bake the cookies. After talking for nearly the whole 20 minuets, Donghyun got a confused look on his face.
"Why on earth are you baking cookies at 3:23AM?" He asked.
"I couldn't sleep, then I got bored" You answered, standing up to check the cookies.
"Wouldn't most people just read a book or go on the internet?"
"Yea, I guess they would. But then they wouldn't have cookies so who's the real winner in this situation?" You turned off the oven and took 2 of the hot cookies, offering one to Donghyun.
"We are. Definitely."
