Derek's pov
I went back to my house after I couldn't find stiles. After the game he won he just ran off I couldn't find him afterward so eventually I gave up and went home waiting for him to text me as I knew he would once he got home, the only reason I gave up was because I didn't want to seem clingy or too overprotective so I just left it. I was at home(the loft) waiting for a text of stiles doing anything to occupy my mind in that time so I was just watching tv when I heard footsteps outside pacing the floor eventually stiles walked in, and I saw it. One side of stiles cheek was covered in blood and his lip was bust I walked over to him immediately and noticing I pushed his face to one side to get a better look at the damage "tell me who did this stiles!" I asked but growled and my eyes flashed red at the same time "Derek please don't I just want a hug" he pleaded with me sounding so defeated I just pulled him into a hug squeezing him so tight I thought I might break him, when we pulled away I asked again "so who did it?" "Some lads in the opposite team they were pissed for loosing" he replied "stiles I know you're lying that might have worked for your dad but not for me" I replied unconvinced "some lads found me after the game... They noticed you in the audience and knew I was with you they beat me and teased me for being gay but they said that I could never pull anyone like you and I'm just your charity case and you don't really love me" he said getting tears in his eyes. Immediately I just pulled him into a hug and replied with "what're their names ... I do love you, you know? You're my mate" "Erm I don't know I didn't see who they were but they were from the opposing team and I love you too" then I pulled him into a passionate kiss after wiping the tears off his cheeks he winced a bit from the pain of his lip and then took him to the bed lying him down and sleeping with him letting the young man cry in my arms from the emotional pain that I couldn't take away so I just cradled him and showed him I loved him till he fell asleep.
