What Makes You Cringe
I ask you, what makes you cringe and feel insecure?
Loud screams late at night or a shadow that’s obscure
Next you hear voices begin to chat in your head
Perhaps a whisper or yell that adds to your dread
How do you battle this tragic state of affair?
Do you hide under your covers, start to chant prayer
Or search deep for inner strength and inner courage
And battle head on, a victor you will emerge
When you are feeling insecure and full of dread
Don't hide under your covers and pour out fresh tears
Know that knowledge and confidence will conquer fears
Now tuck under your covers and go straight to bed!
