I walked up the stairs. There I sit on the edge of the rooftop. I let my feet dangle. I look at the stars trying to see them with all this light in New York City. I wondered what it's like to be up there. Watching people do their thing. Happy family. Alone strangers. Lovely couples. I wonder.

I then felt a buzz. I sighed and pulled my phone out of my pocket. There I see the words my best friend uses at me. It pains me to even read them. They're from someone who I care about.

Go kill your self already!

I turn my phone off. I start to remember what I'm really here for. To say goodbye. To say goodbye to the world. To join the stars.

"I'll be there soon. Don't wait for me." I whispered to the stars in the sky. I smiled sweetly at them. I stand up. I look down at the bottom. I sighed. I looked back up.

"Go ahead don't wait no more." I whispered again. I looked straight ahead. I smiled and spread my arms out. I feel the wind blow on me. I feel feee. But I'm not exactly free yet. I felt a tear go down my face. I closed my eyes.

"Goodbye world. Hello stars." I startete to lean forward until I felt arms around my waist. The person had knocked the wind out of me. My smile washes away. I stand there with the man standing in front of me. He looked concerned. I never saw this man in my life.

"What do you want with me?"
"I want you to be alive."
"Why?"
"Because no person is worth dying young because of them wanting to end it early."
"B-But I have to for it to end. And why would you care? You don't know me."
"So I can get to know you." The man told me. His eyes blue reminding me of the sky during the day. His hair dark reminding me of the sky during the night.

"I wanna be with the stars."

I sat there with my legs up on Sebastian's lap. He makes a joke. I laugh. He makes another. I laugh. And the laughs are real. It's been a year since we have met. But through out the year until five months ago I have tried to kill myself.

"Kristina."
"Yes?"
"W-Will you go on a date with me?" He asked me as he rubbed his neck. I laughed at him. I started to nod my head. Man this dork is adorable.

"I would love to go on a date with you." I told him. He smiled. I smiled.

We walked around the park hand in hand. I looked up at the stars. It was night.

"Kristina."
"Yes?" I looked at Sebastian. He had a smile on his face.

"I had great time tonight. And I was wondering if we could do this again?"
"Yes! I mean of course I would love to." I told him. I wrapped my arms around his neck. His face near mine. He started to lean in and I did too. Then we kissed. It was amazing.

We sat there watching tv. Then we heard a knock on the door. Sebastian started to get up.

"I'll get it." He spoke. Well it is his place in at. I looked back at the tv. I hear the door open. Then there's some talking. I waited here for a little bit until I stood up wondering who it could be. I walked to the door and there I see it.

My heart breaks into millions of tiny pieces. There I see Sebastian kiss another girl. I then walked back to the living room and started to get my stuff.

"Kristina!"
"I don't care but I do care about how we're done!" I yelled back at him. I walked passed him to leave out the apartment. He tried to get me.

I sat there on the same roof. On a different night. But the moon is full. Just like that night. I looked up at moon. Tears going down my face. It's been months since I've seen him. I miss him.

"Why did he do that to me?" I stood up. I spread my arms out. Just one step. But what I didn't know at the time was there was someone coming up. The man I love. The man I miss oh so dearly.

"Kristina!" I heard the voice. I turn around. I then lost my balance. His eyes wide as can be. But everything stopped. A voice went through my head.

Stay or leave with us?

The very voice is the voice my two friends killed themselves.

"I wanna stay." I speak up. I then got my balance. Sebastian ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me. Tears running down both of our faces. We cried into each other. And that very moment I learned something.

The stars are tempting but it's not worth it.
