Beams of light streamed across the littered bodies on the floor. Shining into the eyes of the unfortunate souls who laid in the wrong place. We laid on each other in heaps, exhaustion still rolling over us in waves. All of us nearly collapsed from the tired rimmed eyes that pulled us down. Although we were tired, all of us were happy. The night we had made some of the best memories that I've ever had.

As the sun finally rose in the sky and all the pinks and oranges disappeared, we all dragged ourselves to our feet. Itch and Rot gave out spare sets of clothes since not a single one of us came prepared. I changed in the bathroom, I may be tired but I'm aware of my body still. Itch gave me a sweatshirt and sweatpants, both the color black. He knows me so well.

Shortly, maybe ten minutes later, we all were trudging outside of the house. Not one of us wanted to head towards the high school. If I could, I would love to stay in bed all day. Sadly, I can't hide away in Itch's house.

The air buzzed more as we reached the high school. Conversations drifted far out from the gate. Crowds of people milled around, chirping around their days. Happiness seemed to roll over everyone today.

Gossip about the two new girls flew around everyone. People ran up to each other excitedly, nearly tackling each other with anticipation.

"Is everyone normally like this when there is a new student?" I asked Dark.

He nodded, "We don't get very many new students."

"Oh."

(Time skip)

My eyes darted around the classroom. The teacher spilled nonsense out of his mouth, waving his hands to emphasize his boring point. Dark sat next to me staring ahead with a bored expression. Probably mirroring the expression I wore now. The door clicked, creaking open from the force. A girl walking into the classroom, flicking her hair behind her as she walked. Her boots clicked on the ground as she walked. Everyone's eyes darted to her, boys nearly bowing down at the sight of her. Two male bodyguards seemed to be positioned close behind her.

"Nice of you to join us!" The teacher beamed at the new student. "Please, introduce yourself to everyone."

She stared at the teacher, cocking her head to the side slightly. A small smirk came to the girls face as she watched the teachers nervous eyes. The teacher seemed to be waiting for the girl to speak, but she never did. Her heels clicked again as she walked to the empty desk next to me.

The teachers' eyebrows drew closer to each other, "Excuse me, but can you please introduce yourself to the class."

She laughed, "You seem to be afraid of me. Do I intimidate you, Sir?"

"No, not at all. Now please do what I asked."

The girl stood once more. She walked up to the teacher, standing only inches away from his face. "Sir, it's wonderful to meet you. I'm Fox Moore, your new student for the rest of the year."

She moved away from the teacher was a grin on her face. Clearly satisfied with herself. The teacher was left flustered and confused, he was frozen in place after the whole occurrence. He cleared his throat before shakily starting his lesson again.

Fox sat next to me, leaning back in the chair with one leg over the other. She glanced at her black painted nails, before looking up at the teacher. Her eyes connected with his unintentionally, she would smile and he became flustered again. Clearly, she was messing with him.

Class was a bit interesting after the whole Fox thing. She made sure people remembered her, I can tell you that. After class, she turned to me, a huge smile on her face.

"Hello," She chirped.

I turned away from Dark to speak with her, "Oh, hello."

"I was wondering if I could sit with you at lunch?" She asked. I glanced over at Dark, arching my eyebrow.

"Sure, I guess."

We stared into each other's eyes for a brief moment. It was long enough to figure out that she was breaking inside. She was crumbling but trying to pull off as a strong person. Fox seemed to have sensed that I figured her out, she turned and scurried out frantically. The two males followed close behind.

I watched her walk out of the classroom, her head held high but her shoulders drooping. "So, what do you think of her?" Dark asked once she was out of earshot.

Dark seemed to want a truthful answer, "She's pretty and seems like a somewhat nice girl. But I could never date her."

"Why not?" He asked.

"Because...I'm gay," I whispered.

Dark stared at me shocked, "Really?

I looked down at my shoes, suddenly very self-conscious, "Yeah."

"Don't worry, I am too," Dark smiled at me before walking away. I watched him go, nearly gaping at him behind his back.

I'm not okay.
