Between the next two days, we cleared out my room and replaced everything with Itch's things. Dark rearranged his room to fit my things with his. Itch avoided going to school so we did as well. The school called every day but we would always come up with an excuse then hanging up. For two day's Itch would cry himself to sleep. Dark and I would hear his sobs through the wall making us feel horrible because we didn't know how to help him.
By day three Vicky made us all go to school. Dark and I were in bed sleeping when the sound of pots and pans colliding woke us up. Vicky stood in our room with a smirk planted on her face. "Time to get up," She smirked walking out of the room. Dark groaned rolling out of bed. I walked into Itch's room waking him up for the day. Itch was reluctant but I told him to get out of bed anyway. We got dressed and met up downstairs to eat breakfast. Vicky made some pancakes with eggs.
Silently we ate our food. Vicky left to go to work leaving us home alone. I checked the clock while putting my plate into the sink. We still had a half an hour to get to school. Dark grabbed our bags throwing them at us.
Itch walked in front of us with his hands in his pockets head hanging low. Dark and I held hands behind him. Gently I leaned on Dark while walking. I felt horrible for Itch, I can't even imagine the pain that he is going through right now. He is such a happy person and to see him so down and in pain made me feel awful. This isn't my fault but somehow I feel like it is. Itch's heart must be shattered. I remember watching the love fill Itch's eyes every time he looked at Rot. Even having Rot near he had that look in his eyes. The one that looked like he would do almost anything for Rot. I guess Rot didn't feel the same.
Our friends weren't gathered at the front gate like normal. Instead, two groups stood at the opposite sides of the lawn. Lucius, Mad Cry, DemonKen, and Darzia gathered over by the maple tree. Devin, Lava, Kill, Rot, and the girl Rot was with stood over by the bench. Dark, Itch, and I walked over to Lucius and them. We felt the glares on the back of our heads.
Itch slunk down against the tree curling up into a ball. "What happened here?" I wondered.
"Rot and Itch were the ones that connected the two groups. After they broke up we split, the people over there didn't think Rot did anything wrong. They believe his lies. On the other hand, we didn't believe Rot and started arguing causing a massive rivalry between us," Mad Cry explained. I nodded.
"Do you know what happened?" I asked him. He nodded.
"Itch brought us with. He already knew what was going to happen he just wanted someone with him. So he had Lucius, DemonKen, and I go with him behind the school. It was awful watching Itch break down with confronting him. Itch was crumbling, Rot just continued to kiss that girl in front of him." Mad Cry said apologetically.
"Couple nights ago Itch just ran into the house. He was bawling his eyes out. Itch just sat on our couch crying for a good half an hour before we got an answer out of him. Rot also came to ask us where he was but I lied saying that I didn't know. He looked like he was breaking from what Rot did. Like hell, I was going to let him into the house to see Itch. For now Dark and I are letting Itch stay with us until he wants to leave. He's taking my bedroom since there were no spare rooms available." I said.
"I tried following him after he ran off from us. DemonKen and I were wondering what happened to him. Lucius caught up to him but ended up losing him again. At least he's safe and nothing bad happened." Whimpers came from behind us. Darzia was crouched down holding Itch in her arms.
The bell rang making us all groan. "I hope we can fix him." I whispered walking into the school.
