Chapter 41

Ban, Pill, and I walked out their apartment door. We walked down a lot of steps and out of the building. I looked around not recognizing anything around me. Ban grabbed my left hand while Pull grabbed my right. They both pulled me down the sidewalk to the school. Pill had a grin on his face skipping next to me. Ban would laugh at him but had a smile planted on his face. They seemed happy together. 

The school gates stood tall in front of us shining in the sun. Fear stirred around in my stomach. I stopped in front of the gates not wanting to go in. Pill grabbed my hand and dragged me inside the school grounds. Lucius, Mad Cry, DemonKen, and Dark stood over by a tree. Cat ran up behind Dark kissing his cheek. I watched as Lucius, Mad Cry, and DemonKen's expression changed from happy to shocked in seconds. Lucius's gaze went from Dark over to me who had tears in my eyes. Ban wrapped his arms around me leading me away from the scene. I looked back to see Lucius yelling at Dark and walking away with the others trailing behind him. Pill looked at me with sorrow. 

Lucius caught up with us along with Darzia. The immediately hugged me. Rage was written all over Lucius's face. Mad Cry and DemonKen also looked like they were about to punch something. Dark walked up behind them holding Cat's hand. 

"Hey, guys what's up?" Dark asked casually. He looked everywhere but at me. 

"I don't know Dark. What's up with you?" Lucius asked seething. He looks like he's gonna slap Dark. 

"Nothing much, just hanging out with my girlfriend before heading to class." He responded. Tears pricked the edges of my eyes. 

Lucius walked up to Dark slapping him. Dark stumbled back but regained his balance. "What was that for!" He shouted. 

"You cheating a**hole! What about Anti! Does he mean anything to you?!" Lucius screamed. 

"Anti means nothing to me," Dark yelled. That got me. I broke down and started sobbing. My knees gave out making me fall to the ground. In the middle of the hallway, I started sobbing. Pill and Ban kneeled down next to me. Lucius ran over kneeling down as well. He pulled me close to him so I could cry while being comforted. I heard Darzia, Mad Cry, and DemonKen, yelling at Dark. A crowd was gathering but Darzia shooed them away. The first class bell rang making everyone scatter. Lucius stood me up wiping away my tears. 

"Come on, I'll walk you to class." Lucius walked next to me with everyone trailing close behind us. We walked up to Mrs. Kat's classroom. Darzia explained to Mrs. Kat what was wrong and why I was in a crying mood. I didn't hear what they were telling each other but I did hear Mrs. Kat yelling at Dark to move across the room. Lucius walked me into the room and waited for me to sit down at my desk. Dark now sat next to Cat and they were both making googly eyes at each other. Lucius hugged me before leaving the room with the others. Mrs. Kat looked at me in sympathy. 

"Cat please go sit in the hall," Mrs. Kat yelled for no reason. 

"Why?" Cat asked. 

"Cuz I said so," Mrs. Kat said pointing to the hall. 

Cat pouted and walked out to the hallway. "Nobody talks to Dark Fischbach. If you do you will be sent to the principals and possibly suspended. On top of that, I will give you a lot of homework." Mrs. Kat smirked. Half the class groaned while the other half asked questions.  

"I didn't do anything!" Dark yelled from his desk. 

"Oh, but you did. Now shut up!" Mrs. Kat yelled back. She smiled at me and I smiled back. 

"Alright now to our lesson..."

At lunch I found the only empty table and sat down. With nothing to eat, I just sat down with my head in my hands. Giggles came from the table where my friends were sitting. Dark and Cat were messing with each other with grins on their face's. My friends were trying to scooch away from them. Lucius glared at Dark every time he looked at him. Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked up to see Pill and Ban standing over me. 

"Is it okay if we sit here?" Ban asked. I nodded putting my head back down in my hands. One of them sighed but didn't say anything. 

Lunch was over, everyone started to leave for their next class. Pill dragged me down the hallway to my next class making me sit at my desk. He wouldn't leave till I did. I reluctantly sat down making Pill happy. He left the classroom going to his own class.Lucius sat down next to me since he was in this class. He smiled at me and turned to pay attention to the teacher. 

I didn't pay attention at all during class. My mind kept drifting off to Dark. I love Dark so much. From what I thought he loved me too. So why did he do this? Was I too much? Could he not deal with my scars anymore? Was not good enough for him? 

Dark must not love me.
