Chapter 49

 Lucius's POV

My foot bounced impatiently while I waited for the doctors to tell us what was going on. Anti's heart stopped. He could be dead for all I know! When I get to school later I'm gonna punch Dark for putting him in this mess. He should have held his pee till he got home! After we get the real Dark back I'm definitely not letting Anti go back to him quite yet. He's either staying with me or Ban and Pill. I know Dark was spelled but there's gotta be a way for him to break it himself. Maybe he could but gave up trying. I hope not. 

My eyes were drooping down my face. It was five in the morning so yeah. Doctor Carson finally walked into the waiting room. I jumped up since I was the only one awake. She looked at me with a smile. 

"He's okay. We have him stable and he is okay. His heart stopped from the medicine he took earlier. The effects from the Tylonel was still in him. It's over now. All you have to do is wait for him to come out of the coma," Doctor Carson told me. I sighed in relief. 

"Thank you for everything. I don't know what we'd do if we lost him. His boyfriend would be heartbroken..." I spoke. 

"Is he here?" Doctor Carson asked. I sadly shook my head. 

"A witch spelled him and made him fall in love with another girl. He proposed to her yesterday. I can only guess that Anti's heart shattered and he couldn't take it anymore. We're lucky he went back to Dan and Phil's place. If not he could be dead by now," I rambled. 

"Well he will be okay, there should be no worries. Now get some rest you need it," Doctor Carson smiled and walked away. I sat back down in the chair falling asleep.

Someone shook me awake the next morning. Itch stood in front of me with his hands on my shoulders. 

"We gotta get up for school." I nodded getting up from the chair. Everyone else was slowly waking up from their sleep. None of us had a spare change of clothes so we just went in what we wore the day before. Dan, Phil, Pill, Ban, and I crowded into one car. The others took the other car. Itch and Rot planned on dropping Mad Cry and DemonKen off before heading over to the enchanted lake.

The school was already crowded when we arrived. Phil parked right in front of the gates letting us get out. Dan and I nodded to each other walking towards Dark who was kissing Cat against a tree. A ring glittered on her left hand gleaming in the sunlight. We're 17! Jeez! Mad Cry walked up to Cat pulling her away from Dark. She yelped and tried to pull away but DemonKen held onto her. He was way too strong for her to get away. Dan and Ban grabbed Dark's arms while Pill and I grabbed Dark's legs. We lifted him from the ground and started to walk towards the car. Dark kept squirming around and cursing at us. Dan slapped him making him shut up. 

We managed to get him in the trunk of the car since there was no room in front. Mad Cry and DemonKen stayed at school dragging Cat to the principal's office. Phil sped down the road towards the enchanted lake. Dan sat up front next to him while Ban and Pill sat next to me. Even while they were sitting I still felt short. 

Phil pulled up to the lake where Itch and Rot were. Dan and I grabbed Dark from the trunk who was still struggling against us. Rot walked over and helped us get Dark to the water. We lifted him so he was above the water. 

"I call on all the gods of the river to cleanse this boy from the spell! Make him the boy he was before when he was not controlled by a love spell!" Itch yelled. He nodded towards us. We all dropped Dark into the lake Silently we stood by the water waiting for Dark to resurface.

"How long till you resurfaced?" I whispered to Rot. 

"About a minute," He responded. I watched the water where you could faintly see sparkles dancing around Dark's body. Suddenly he surfaced from the water gasping for breath. I held out my hand for him to grab. He grabbed it and let me pull him out of the water. Dark collapsed on the grass soaking wet. We all hovered over him staring straight at him. 

"What?" He asked confused. 

"Dark who are you in love with?" I asked. We all silently waited for an answer. 

"Anti, why?" A smile broke across my face. I started cheered along with everyone else. Dark just stared at us confused. 

"Dark you were spelled by the witch. She made you fall in love with another girl who loved you," Itch explained. Dark nodded along. 

"Wait where's Anti?" He asked. Nobody said a word. 

"He's in the hospital," I finally said breaking the silence.

"Why?" Dark's eyes glossed over and you could see that he was about to cry. 

"He- he tried to commit suicide. Dark, he's okay! The doctors were able to save him! He's only in a coma right now..." I blurted. Tears started to pour from Dark's eyes. 

"Did I do that to him? Did I drive him to suicide?" Now he was blaming himself. 

"No, he just couldn't handle what was happening. None of us noticed it until he broke. Do you even remember what happened?" Dan asked. Dark shook his head. This is going to be a long story.
