A faint buzz tingled through the room from the demon that laid soundly on the bed. Earbuds were tightly screwed into the ears to deafen the sound that emitted from behind the closed door. The duvet curled around the emotionless body that laid in one, still spot. Rushing music with an upbeat feel bounced through the wires. Creaking through the small tube to the person laying all lonely on the bed.

One earbud slipped from its comfy position tucked away in the ear. It rolled off my shoulder and onto the bed. I sighed, pushing myself into a sitting position to drink from a water bottle that sat on the floor next to the bed. After I took a swig I threw it towards the wall, where it most likely will be discarded from a few days. It made a soft thud as plastic met drywall.

I went back to curling up in the blankets, but sadly, someone knocked on the door. A thought crossed my mind to pretend that I was sleeping, but they most likely heard the bottle hitting the wall. Once again, I sat up on the bed letting my sweatshirt hike up slightly to see the skin across my waist.

"Come in," I shouted since I didn't know if they walked away. The door opened with a creak. Dark stepped into the room with a disappointed look on his face. He didn't seem to be disappointed in me though, he looked to be disappointed in himself.

"Do you need something?" I asked as he sat down in my desk chair.

He shook his head. "Ah no actually, I don't."

I raised an eyebrow, "Why are you here then?"

Dark ran his fingertips over the back of his head, "Well, I wanted to say that I'm sorry. I acted stupidly in a bad situation and it lead to you being hurt and I'm sorry for that. That situation could've been handled better than me yelling at you and getting angry at you."

"I thought that you were going to hurt me. You kept getting angrier and angrier... then you got close to me...."

"I could never hurt you. No matter how angry I get, I don't think it's possible for me to hurt you."

I sighed, "Look, I'm going to forgive you only because I don't want this to ruin our friendship."

Darks' eyes shimmered, "Ah, thank you Anti. I'm truly sorry, and I'm glad that you forgave me."

"Don't be sorry anymore. It's not needed."

Dark smiled before pulling me into a tight embrace. Never have I felt so much joy.

When the next day rolled around, Dark and I dragged ourselves into school with exhaustion settling on our shoulders. Neither of us got a blink of sleep due to our conversation that lasted the rest of the night. Most classes were a drag, leaving me to falling asleep during an English lesson. A queasy feeling aroused in my stomach after I woke. It remained throughout my next class as well. Dark seemed to have the same queasy feeling as I did since he mentioned it while we walked to lunch.

Fox walks with us most days, due to her lack of friends in this school. Today, she wasn't walking by our side. She wasn't anywhere in fact. No one has seen her in classes or in the halls. We assumed she was sick.

When we did arrive in the cafeteria, the queasy feeling grew. A thick tension hung in the air that everybody seemed to be grasping on. Dark and I walked to the back table where our other friends gathered. Lucius immediately told everyone that something was wrong.

"I'm getting this weird feeling that something bad is going to happen today," He said as Dark and I sat down.

Dark and I glanced at each other, "Has anyone else had this queasy feeling?"
