I looked into the mirror at my graduation gown. Today was the day that I was finally graduating from that stupid Demon Highschool. Dark walked up behind me engulfing me in a hug. He kissed me temple making me feel slightly better. Nervousness still crept around in my veins. Dark seemed to sense the nervousness.
"Hey, it's gonna be alright," He soothed me. I nodded taking a deep breath. Dark grabbed my hand rushing me out of his room and over to the living room. Vicky was holding a camera smiling brightly at us.
"My two babies are finally grown up!" She cried. Small tears formed in the corner of her eyes. Vicky pulled herself together telling us to stand next to each other. Dark set him hands on my waist pulling me close to him. I leaned on him inhaling his cologne. "Oh three. One... two... three," A flash came from the camera. Vicky took a couple more photos then set us free.
Dark and I rushed out of the house to Dark's car. He drove to the high school parking in the way back where we were supposed to meet our other friends. Itch and Rot arrived first with Kill, Lava, and Devin trailing close behind them. Lucius, Darzia, DemonKen, and Mad Cry arrived shortly after. I saw Phil pull up in his car parking close to us. Pill and Ban climbed out of the car walking up to greet us. Dan and Phil said their hellos before walking down to the auditorium. The rest of us talked for a little while then started to walk to the auditorium ourselves.
We stayed in a large group taking up most of the hallways. Dark and I held hands the whole way which made me feel better. The auditorium was huge holding thousands of chairs for the audience and the graduates. A red rope tied off where the graduates sat. The rest of the rows were filled with the audience. Vicky spotted us and started waving like a mad man. I got Dark's attention pointing at her. We both waved back.
A woman gave us directions to sit in the place we were assigned during practice. Meaning we had to sit by alphabetical order. We all split apart walking down our rows to our spot. A small little name tag stuck on the chair with our name. I found my chair and sat down immediately feeling nervous again. I bounced my leg patiently waiting for the program to start.
About 45 minutes later the program started. Mrs. Whites walked up to the podium smiling proudly at the students.
"Today is the start of these students new life. They finally are free to go out into the world to explore by themselves. For the past 12 years, these students have been taught many different things. Hopefully, they can use that knowledge to lead them through life. I am proud to look at these students and say that they did amazing. One of the best group of students that I've ever seen. Friendships were made along with relationships. Some will last forever while others will die when you walk out of this room. We are all an individual, nobody in the same. The friends you will every month for the next 10 years is your true friends. The ones you never see after today are not. I want all of you to have the best future possible," Mrs. Whites beamed.
The rest of the program was just more speeches and more talking. Finally, they started announcing the names. "Darzia Bisognin." Blah blah blah. "Dark Fischbach." I stood up and clapped a lot while Dark walked on stage. "Itch Grassi." More names. "Ban Howell." Yay! "Rot Hoying." Blah blah. "Lava Kaplan." Cheers. " Lucius Kjellberg." More applause. "Pill Lester." Dan and Phil screaming. "Kill Maldonado." More cheering. "Anti McLoughlin." Oh crap.
I shakily got out of my chair and made my way up to the stage. Quickly I climbed the steps walking over to Mrs. Whites who held my diploma. She handed it to me with a big smile. I shook her hand and a couple of other peoples. Some chuckles came from the crowd as I sprinted off stage. I sat back down in my seat clutching the diploma to my chest.
"DemonKen Morrison." More talking. "Devin Olusola." More names. "Mad Cry." I tuned out after that.
The program was over and now it was the after party. More like the -not so fun- school planned party. We all went though. Dark and I changed into jeans and a nice t-shirt. Unlike prom when we both were wearing tuxes. The rest of the night consisted of us partying with friends. It was nice.
Lucius dragged me away from Dark making me talk to Darzia for a while. About 15 minutes after that he dragged me away from Darzia and to the football field in the back of the school. The lights were off making it completely dark outside. Suddenly the lights turned on revealing Dark who was standing in the middle of the field. Our friends stood along the sides with grins planted on their faces. I walked up to Dark who looked like he was going to start crying. Finally, I was standing in front of him looking into his black and red eyes.
Dark pecked my lips then pulled away. He got down on one knee putting a box out of his back pocket. Tears sprung to my eyes when I realized what was happening. Dark opened the box showing a ring.

"Anti, I've love you more than anything. I want to be able to hold you in my arms for the rest of eternity. I want to be able to kiss you when I wake up in the morning. To be able to hug you all the time. I want to be able to start a family with you. Have children. Maybe some pets. I want you in my life forever. The past has been rough but I don't want that to affect the future. Antisepticeye McLoughlin, will you marry me?" By now tears fell from both of our eyes. I heard sniffling coming from the people around us.
"Yes."
That's the end!
I know best ending ever (not really). I thought 52 chapters was a good place to end the first book. There will be a sequel coming out shortly. (In like a week) So look out for that. The sequel will be about their life after high school. When they are forced to be adults. That should be fun.
I already have most of the sad parts planned. Yay!
