Chapter 40

We sat on the couch silently while I sobbed into Ban's shoulder. Pill rubbed circles on my back and whispered things like 'it's okay' or 'you will make it through this'. Ban had his arms wrapped around me holding me close to him. I cried for what felt like hours. Slowly my tears slowed and ran dry. Ban still held me even though I was no longer crying. I pulled away smiling sadly. Pill and Ban smiled slightly back. Dan left the room at some point during my crying session. I leaned back into Ban who gladly held me. 

"What am I going to do? I live with Dark and his mom. I can't go back there, he- he is just going to be there with that girl," I whimpered. 

"You can stay here for a while. I'm sure Dan and Phil will be fine with it. For now, you can take the spare room. We'll get it set up for you," Ban suggested. I nodded not saying anything. They both got up leaving me alone in the living room. 

I watched the anime that was playing on the television while waiting for them to come back. Angry voices came from the hall, some shouts or complaints but that was about it. Phil walked out of the hallway smiling at me. Dan followed close behind him. He grabbed Phil's arm yanking him back. Dan whispered something in Phil's ear making Phil frown. He whispered something back at Dan. While they whispered I turned my attention back to the TV. 

Pill came out from the spare room and stood in front of me. "Come on, I'll give you a tour of the place." I got up and followed him around the apartment. (Pretend that Dan and Phil live in Los Angeles. I know they live in London but pretend they moved to the United States.) 

Pill showed me all the rooms even the one I was in earlier. I learned that it was Dan's room. The last room he showed me was the room I was going to stay in. A queen sized bed sat in the middle of the room with a black bed set covering it. Black dresser and night stands stood in the room as well. Besides those things, nothing else was in the room. I thanked Pill and laid down on the bed. For hours I just stared at the ceiling with tears running down my face.

My face was sticky with tears when I woke up the next morning. The clock beside the bed showed that it was about time that I woke up for school. Quietly I got out of bed, peeking out the room door into the hallway. Pill was up and walking out of his room to the living room. I followed behind him. Pill walked into the kitchen but I went into the living room sitting down on the couch. A few minutes later Pill walked into the living room with a bowl of cereal in this hands.

"Morning Anti!" Pill chirped. 

"Morning," I mumbled. Pill turned on a baking program and watched it while he ate his cereal. Ban woke up a little later getting some cereal as well. 

"Pill have you been eating my cereal!" Ban yelled from the kitchen. Pill giggled. 

"Maybe," he yelled back. I heard a groan from the kitchen. 

"Anti do you want anything to eat?" Ban called. 

"No, I'm good." Ban didn't respond. He walked into the living room sitting down next to Pill. We all watched the baking program for a while until Ban and Pill were done with their food. They left to go get ready for school. I had nothing with me so all I could do was patiently wait for them to leave for school. Ban was ready first. He messed with his brown hair as he sat down on the couch. Once he was satisfied with his hair he looked over at me. Confusion spread across his face. 

"Aren't you going to get ready for school?" He asked. 

"I don't have anything with me," I replied. 

"Well come on, you can borrow some of my clothes." Ban grabbed my hand dragging me to his room. His room looked a lot like Dan's. Ban opened his dresser pulling out a pair of jeans. He threw them at me then walked over to his closet. Moments later he returned with a black t-shirt. He also threw that at me. "You can change in here. I'll be in the living room." Ban exited the room closing the door behind him. 

I stripped from my dirty clothes pulling on the clothes he gave me. The pant legs were long and the shirt hung on me but I didn't mind. I tried scrubbing my teeth with my finger to clean them but it didn't work very well. Pill was in the living room sitting next to Ban waiting for me. I walked into the living room standing quietly behind them. Somehow Pill heard me enter the room. He turned around smiling at me. 

"You ready?" Pill asked. 

"Yeah," I said quietly.
