Caladwen grabbed her weapons which consisted of her bow, sword, and two daggers. She went down the Barad-dur tower, where her horse was saddled up and ready for the journey they had ahead. The Witch-king of Angmar and the other eight members of the Nazgul were there. They were waiting for Caladwen, so that they could be on their way. But, before they all left, the Witch-king handed Caladwen a black cloak that even had a hood. The cloak was very big in size. Caladwen wasted no time in putting the cloak on. Once it was on, Caladwen mounted her horse. She put the cloak hood over her head and the back of the cloak draped on the back of her horse, covering her completely in the black cloak.

Caladwen and all nine of the Nazgul's rode away from Barad-dur, making their way to the gate of Mordor. They were stopped at the gate of Mordor, while they waited for the trolls and orcs to open the gate. Before the gate was open enough, for them to go through, Caladwen looked back at the Barad-dur tower and her father, Sauron.

She saw that Sauron's eye was fixed on her and the Nazgul's. Just then, the gate of Mordor became open enough for them to go through. The Nazgul's immediately galloped their horses and Caladwen did the same. She rode next to the Witch-king of Angmar, while the other eight followed behind them.

"Where exactly are we traveling?" shouted Caladwen.

"The ring is in the hands of a hobbit, who belongs to the Shire." replied the Witch-king of Angmar in his screeching sound of a voice.

"So then we will be heading to the Shire." added Caladwen.

"Indeed."

The journey from Mordor to the Shire was indeed long. Caladwen didn't mind it too much because she got to see the land outside of Mordor. It wasn't long before it became dark. All ten of them were riding in full gallop, until the Witch-king of Angmar stopped. Causing the other eight and Caladwen to stop.

"What is it?" asked a curious Caladwen. "Why have you stopped?"

The Witch-king turned his head, showing nothing but black in the area of where a head would be.

"Welcome to the Shire, Caladwen."

Caladwen smiled back at the Witch-king. The Nazgul's and her continued riding in the direction of the Shire. Soon enough, they all spread out to find the hobbit, who carries the ring. Caladwen stuck close to the Witch-king, while the other eight went different ways. Caladwen stopped her horse, next to the Witch-king's, while he hopped off and looked around for the tricky hobbits who were avoiding them. Caladwen even looked around, when she saw a rock throw behind her. Without hesitation, the Witch-king got back on his horse and went in the direction, from which the rock was thrown.

However, Caladwen did not follow him

However, Caladwen did not follow him. She knew very well that it was simply a rock. Nothing more and nothing less. Instead Caladwen took out her sword and rode her horse down a steep path, that avoided a trees roots. She looked ahead of her, but saw nothing. It wasn't long when she heard someone breathing from behind her. Caladwen slowly turned her head and saw four hobbits.

All four of the hobbits stood up and ran away from her. Caladwen followed in pursuit, with her sword in hand. She was inches away from one of the hobbits, when all of a sudden they turned and ran in the opposite direction of her. But, that didn't stop her. Caladwen was determined to get the hobbits, so she quickly recorrected her direction and followed the hobbits. Soon enough, the Witch-king caught up with her they chased the hobbits side by side.

They were inches away from getting the hobbit with the ring, when all of a sudden he jumped off the dock and onto a boat with the other three hobbits. Caladwen and the Witch-king has to quickly stop their horses, before they would fall into the water.

The Witch-king turned his horse around and quickly went on the path. He knew that he couldn't waste any time because the hobbits were traveling a shorter distance by water, than by land. However, Caladwen remained on the dock as she watched the hobbits. She took a deep breath in, before she put her sword back in its holster.

Caladwen was disappointed with herself. She knew that she could have got the ring, but yet she didn't. She stopped thinking about it and rode off to join the Nazgul's.
